BYA's tracks:
As reported elsewhere, the 1/16 BYA tracks are made by Kenny Kong. They are pinned like Tamiyas, with heads on the pins for easy removal.
It is recommended to CA all the pins ~except~one~ in place, and then mark that lone pin-head with paint, so that opening the track later is easy. To do this you just pull the pin out a bit, put a bit of CA where the head meets the shaft, and then push the pin back into place.
I've ordered the Pershing cupola and ~two~ of the Pershing turret detail sets direct from Axel-Modellbau, and I'll report on their quality when they arrive. Payment by PayPal was easy, though expect a 4% charge for use (beats bank transfer charges!)
If all goes well, I'll be ordering more parts, perhaps the tapered antennas and a few other bits (like the T1 nose-piece/pin-guard) Lets hope they pick up where Dirk left us hanging, eh?
