Actually, hmm, dunno how to say this but errrr, the shipwright people that I have employed for building ships have been on strike for a rather long time. Claming that use the whip a little too much Evil [}:)]

Anyway, I think I might be able to start building again some time after the hollydays.

Hi Guys

Been absent for awhile.

Heres an update I have the hull set up for waterline but as per the pictures I used some sprue to make it multi functional.

The idae is that I can have it waterline then I can add it to the lower hull and make it complete as it were.

Looking good there Fordboy, but, what is not visible in you picture is how the waterline looks like when the upper and lower hull are dry-joint ?

The bad fit of those both are one of the reasons I went for the waterline version of the E-Boat. How did you make them mate perfectly (if so) ?

Nope haven't seen the pics yet, only the drawings last year, however, I suspect this kit might be little out of my wallet's league Shock [:O]

I decided to use the kit supplied stands but I lined them with Tamiya Masking Tape so I could place my painted hull on it during  construction.

Hi Dan

I am still around mate.

Yes there is progress.

The E-Boat is all ready finally for paint.

I have been busy at work, with the family and have little modelling time lately.

I will post the latest shots shortly.

I'm here. Nice job and I admire your dedication. I've done this too, never join a GB and not finish. Clips are a nice tip.

Hi Bondoman - great to see you around.

Got the old paint brush out and undercoated the propellers.

Yes the colour is rather garish but that will be fixed in the final detailing.

The rear gun deck sight was solid so I hollowed it out hope you can make it out.

I tried to make the centre hole larger and to insert a sight however the plastic (which is pretty soft and crappy) broke therefore I just left it alone.

Oh get rid of it. Wrap a piece of wire around a toothpick and make a eyebolt type of deal.
