Got the kit wrapped and ready for the mail today.  I added today's newspaper from my town to show him where i live.  Along with some photos of the family.  Hope he enjoys it all.  He can read the paper while he waits for X-mas Smile [:)]  Good Idea Avus.  Nothing worse then wondering if the postal gods decieded to send your package to Antartica

Agree on that!

BTW My order got billed so it should be away and get to my recipient in the next days.
How about posting here when we receive our gift, just to make sure it arrived at destination.

FYI - Hobby Lobby has a 40% internet coupon on anything in the store.  You could easily trick the wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/husband in thinking you only bought one item.  Evil [}:)]

Yes, this GB is a great idea!

I proposed it in other sections of this forum but it didn't have as much response as here. Strange.

Edit:

Ordered the aircraft a few minutes ago and will send a card with greetings and personal info in the nexr days.

Jon, this is the coolest GB idea I have seen yet on this site!

What's making it so cool is how everyone is getting into it! Plus, I figured this one would go over better than my other GB idea..... "Blindfolded, Hanging Upside Down Group Build". Big Smile [:D]

This is so much fun, I went out and for some reason came home with three kit's, yikesss. I did as much research on you as I could find and hope you like it. Whichever one I end up mailing.  Just have to wrap it up and find a box for it. Getting a little excited now.

Steve.

what about a "going to be out due to bussines GB"

you say to your wife/girlfriend you'll be out a week due to bussines/school activy (for young guys, like me [despite i dont have a girlfriend]). then you ask a friend to stay on his house for a little time, while you're in your "bussines meet/school activity", where you finish the model. then you carry your finished model inside a well-protected box inside a suitcase (in case you live with her, for the "young ones".
