To quote either Wacko or Jacko Helloooooooooooooo Nurse!  I have purchased my gift for my victim, er recipient for the Secret Santa. Now, do I wrap in red or green duct tape?  Maybe a weave so I get a checkerboard pattern.  Maybe several layers of duct tape, yeahh that's the ticket!  Darren, you must keep your security cheif well fed cause I don't see any gnaw marks on your low level stash.  Did you bob his tail or are you planning on raising your shelves, cause I forsee lots of broken plastic on that first shelf.  A full grown lab's tail going full tilt wag can wreak some serious havoc!  A good looking hound by the way.

Revell/Italaerei 1/35 Pz. Kpfw. I Ausf B

There are others that have yet to be even started.  So lets see what you have in the wings....

An update on my projects.  I asked my little man what I should finish first and he picked the Pz I.  Spent part of today redoing it.  Had a chance to use Mr. Surfacer 500 and I have to say I love that stuff.  Now I have to repaint the tank and the color I used when I first did it is gone.  The closet I have Gunze field gray (German Tank)  I think I like that color betterWink [;)]

Wow Roy this was already back about 4 pages! This thread moves really fast!

Looks like you got a whole lot near the finshing point. I still love the decals on that P-40 need have it!  The darker green camo blotches on the tail? They were not also on the wings as like on the Memphis Belle? I have no idea as I have never seen a pic of that particular bird before.

The Panzer I is too cool. A real monument to times gone by!  Good luck woth those tracks they are a challenge unto themselves.

Everything else the Spits and the FW and all just look so well done! I wish I could stay organized enough to maintain so many projects at once! Good stuff there had to take another look.

Nam ? a modeling tool? What do you use it for? Looks like something the army used to treat social discease. Dead [xx(] Ouch!  Wait I see why you are familiar with it now but why does the Cag have one? Laugh [(-D]

Ah Darren an outstanding piece of work! Very much looks like it could fly off the shelf and start on an attack run! Bow [bow]

The CAG is a smooth operator and leaves suttle clues to the true meaning of his words. For instance if you look closely at the photo of his chief of security, in the lower right on the floor buried under other kits is what appears as a wrapped object in his stash.... Undoubtably baited with bacon or doggie treats. We can see now why Mrs Tango 1 had to take matters into her own hands!

I also like the blue chair and am wondering what super secret object that silver probe is next to the Q-tip? Whistling [:-^]

As much as I try I can still see no clues to the secret workshops location but with a treasure like that stash to be had I shall double my efforts!  From the fresh damp soil on the Labs paws I can ascertain that it has been raining and am analysing the soil sample to see if it yields any clue to his whereabouts.  Of course he is a clever fellow and this might be a ruse. Shock [:O]

All in all that F-4 and the finished pieces in view on that shelf are amazing. Bow [bow]

Nam you are so right nothing I would like more than to work on a pair of wings! 4 days! Hope y'all are ready! Pirate [oX)]

That's odd lewbud? No fit issues to speak of with him. He sat right in his seat and the steering wheel lined up just perfect. I was concerned about the roof as this is the /10 with the 3.7cm pak on top and he is under the mount but the fit works and it just missed the top of his hat. Wouldn't be able to put a safety pad up there though.  None with the legs at all guess I was lucky. Guy and Wingnut have both preceded me in 251 builds so far so thay gave some excellent advice and heads up on some fit issues with the Dragon 251 series. Really cool to watch those aircraft master Guru's churn out some quality 251 versions. I'm kinda humbled to be included in that GB.

I seem to remember a couple of guys having probs with the driver fitting when we did our club build of 251's a couple of years ago, maybe they fixed that in the newer issues.  I'll be along in that build shortly.  I've found my 251 D model flame thrower version, just have to buy it.  Would have bought it Saturday but the shop's credit card machine was down.  If my secret santa is out there, your present will be on its way soon.

Frank I hope your finger is healing from your little boo boo.  I used to work with an old timer who said that anything under 200 stitches is a scratch.  He was pretty tough.

Hey been playing with a fig too!

Aaron,

You might want to check the clearance on the driver figure.  From what my memory recalls, you're gonna have to do a double amputation to get it to fit.  If you don't want to do that, you're going to have to tear the cockpit apart and do some major surgery on the firewall.  Just watched Apocalypse Now Redux for the Hollywood Goes to War Build, the only good thing to say about that movie is at least I can trade the DVD in for something else ie better and makes sense.

Frank,

As someone who has been in your shoes, I feel your pain.  Tried to sever a nerve in my left index finger opening up a cassette case when I was younger and took some off the top of my right finger with a meat slicer at work.  All you can do is let it heal.  I took some off of my right middle finger with the same meat slicer and when I wrote (I was in college) at the time, it looked like I was giving the prof the bird.  Just keep it wrapped and let it heal, it'll put crimp in your modelling for a couple of weeks.
