Did you say SNOW???  That's a four-letter word at my house.

Charlene is well, looking forward to working again this winter.  I am in no hurry to push her around, though. [Wink [;)]

Make a Toast [#toast] Here is to the CAG and crew and I agree the finest GB around the 7 seas. All though NAM's doing the PBY thing I have this feeling there will be much crossover!

Thanks for the words Aaron! If the PBY GB has 25% as much fun as this, I'll consider it a success. But note! THIS is the first place I stop after log-in!

Glad the CAG can be around on a weekend!!!

Sorry Frankie isn't feeling well.....just don't mix Nyquil with yer rum!

So to all here......Happy weekend!

Can anyone explain snow to me? It's cold here only 76 F today.

If we are to enjoy the weekend we need to know the brand of spirits Ritchie has partaken of?

Must be a good stock for him to be following one of my ideas?

Buddy,

I am in Australia. I will look at the site and see if any are here. I might have seen the  name but maybe not have clicked or something. Will investigate further. I had a look at the site, and there is one in Melbourne. That's a lil over an hour drive so might pop in there one day and have a look. From the map I know roughly where it's at.

Aaron, I am trying your lil trick with cardstock this time to see the effect I get on the fuse sides of my Corsair. I had some lines drawn with pencil, but after I put the pit in place it just didn't cut it. I needed a bit of 3D, but not too much. So far, so good!

Richie,

Where are you?  I know IKEA has stores worldwide, link is www.ikea.com .  The prices I quoted were in US dollars.

Well lads (and ladies).  It's the start of a 4 day weekend for me and I plan to make the most of it.  I'm heading down to Vancouver tomorrow to catch the IPMS Vancouver show on Saturday.  This will be my first major show so I'm totally pumped for it. I'll try to take lots of pics, especially of anything to do with Naval Aviation.  Wink [;)]

Conference call sounds great but obviously not this weekend.

Thanks Buddy!!! Will keep an eye out for those. Don't know what they would be called here though. When things are imported to this country most times they aren't happy with the name it comes with for some reason. Thanks for the tip!!Thumbs Up [tup]

Dee, hope you enjoy your build! Aaron, thanks! As for my books, I wish I could find cheap genuine wood bookcases that won't sag under the weight. This pulpboard crap just doesn't hold up!

Richie,

If there is an IKEA near you, their Billy (that's the name) bookcases are the bomb.  They run about 80.00 each and are a good foot taller than the average pulp board case.  They also use metal pins (which are recessed into the shelf) rather the plastic pins normally used.  I've got a shelf with nothing but magazines and it is still straight.  I've got a pulpboard bookcase with the same load and it is noticeably bowed in the middle.  I'm at work or I'd post a pic.  Also, if you need a showcase, you can get glass shelves, lights and glass doors for them which will run about 200.00 total.  They also come in several finishes.

I'd be down with that, Roy. I'm actually planning on being in El Paso this long weekend (partly to try my hand at "wenching" again, and also just to get away from FLETC). But I'll have my laptop with me in the hotel room. I'm just not too sure about what the scheduling looks like here.
