Bondo, may I recommend the Seafire? Lots of versions and lots of kits out there. Oh......well yes, I am rather fond of them-but I'm totally impartial on the subject of recommending subjects.....honest! |

Aye, excellent choice Sir! Just by happenstance I bought a book today in a Garage Sale, which is the equivalent of a sidewalk sale, and whilst perusing same" Complete Guide to WW2 Aircraft", yeah right, came acrost same Reginald Mitchell masterpiece, in this case in a pic taking off of "HMS Formidable" with the very curious code "theta" (actually an O with a diagonal thru it, like an old fortran "zero"), then 6G. Research shows the go-to guys are CMR in the only scale that I build, 1/72 in which there's millions of the buggers, more than I can think. One side of me likes the Griffon, the other side of me likes a/c that don't cartwheel rightways into the carrier island at takeoff. That's the plan then and I'll follow orders. Any preferences appreciated, I'd say I'll probably not be able to find too many choices. AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH
