Congrats Ritchie! I keep looking for my issue I laid it somewhere?  I wanted to see the tip. Bet it was something real inventive.  They always ignore my tips about using duct tape and dead bugs. So well done!

Nam! isn't that a song? It's 5 O'clock somewhere? Probably England! Make a Toast [#toast] Trip to the pub?

How is that whole moving thing going (or should I ask?)

I have been busy playing with the Italian stuff at the GB next store. Lots of excellent stuff there going on by some of the crew here! I think Frank is almost ready to post a picture of his propeller! Laugh [(-D] You know Frank it's an Italian War plane GB so he makes a Me-109. ( at least it wasn't a Corsair!)

Congrats to you again Ritchie!  Fantastic to have one of the crew recognized by someone other than the FBI ! Pirate [oX)]

Way to go Richie  Thumbs Up [tup]

Still making slow progress, after the decal snafu I kinda lost the fizzle. But other then missing the one fuse star (all mine the blue was too dark)  I still have been masking the canopy pieces.

TBD -t

This is what I have gotten done between the Italian Job's.

I dunno Sean Maybe I am a bit soft but I'd leave it just like that with the red dots and tail stripes! It really looks sharp to me! The colors are cool and your masking job fantastic!  I can't see how a feller who claims he can't see does such perfect work!  Those must be some reading glasses! Bow [bow]

Thanks Aaron Blush [:I] for thinking it looks good. I have to use the reading glasses with the Opti~visor. I keep waiting for the Hubble to fall somewhere close so I can rob the lens out of it to use.  I am almost afraid to know what your tip would be using Dead Bugs, although when I lived in Vegas I saw roaches big enough to be 1/32 Pilots.

I just brush it on with a wide flat soft brush. I use it sparingly and usually do three or four coats.

All the best.

Picked up the old Airfix Gladiator kit at the LHS yesterday.  It has markings for the Hal Far (HMS Falcon) airfield on Malta which was a mix of RAF and FAA personnel.  The planes were from 802 squadron and were delivered by HMS Glorious in early 1940.  The kit is a recent boxing by Hornby and the decals look excellent and have none of the out of register stuff we've become accustomed to from airfix.  Hope this is a sign of more good things to come.  Woohoo!!!
