Ditto on the Kind words CAG and all!  I am short on time so I shall post one message here rather than answer The Pm's at the moment. Last night as I was going thru my mess of modeling boxes I had just given up and went to bed about 3:15 then at 3:30 Dee awoke very sick. She couldn't speak to even really say what was wrong as her stomach was repelling its contents all over me.  This had gone one for an hour so I took her to the Emergency Room about 3:30 AM and she was admitted to the hospital.  I just got home to grab a bite and wash out the clothing she had and have to return with some fresh clothing.

Very odd ailment. We don't know the cause yet. She has no headache or pain but cannot move without the roomy spins and nausia.  Been like this over 12 hours now.  Very sudden as she was fine when she went to bed. Ate what we all ate extc. So far we have done a Cat scan and MRI.  The lack of headache and pain seems to have them concerned but at least she can watch TV and not be in any pain as long as she is still.  Man get her on her feet it's like she drank the whole keg O rum herself!

I'll keep you all posted  and such. Aaron

Darren,

Thanks for the compliment.  Coming from you that means a lot.  Very nice work on the Sea Fury, did you use the kit decal or end up painting the spinner?

Aaron,

Tell Dee she needs to listen to some real music before going to bed instead of Rick Springfield!Laugh [(-D]  Seriously, I hope she gets to feeling better and home soon.

Dave,

I used the AMT kit.  Been carting that thing around since the movie came out the first time.

CAG,

Is there a list somewhere of all the a/c that have been used by the FAA?

Well I just got home. I took the kids up after they got home from school today. Got there just in time for her to go for yet another MRI.  Still very early according to the Doctors but they are suspecting it may be a stroke of sorts.  Hearing loss, walking/bumping into stuff and the dizziness is leaning them that direction and no one has said what has been seen on the Cat Scan and MRI's taken thus far. Right now  I guess we are at the stage to say what it is not.  So I guess nothing conclusive yet.  Looks like another day in the Hospital tomorrow.  Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!  Lewbud  after I told her what you said about Rick Springfield she made me bring her IPOD up to her.  So she must be feeling a little better. Just more like a pin cushion with all these test.

Yikes Aaron, hope it was not a stroke!  Those things are daaaang nasty!  My poor Grandmother suffered one many years ago, and her stubborness to not get looked after immediately was her eventual undoing.  She came down with dimensia, probably due to lack of oxygen to the brain, and alas she spent the last several years of her life thinking she was 5 years old again Ashamed [*^_^*]  SOunds like you guys were lucky to catch it early.  My best to you and Dee.

Brian

P.S. I see Bondo has been absent of late....I don't suppose he drank the same rum as Dee do ya!? Big Smile [:D]

Thanks for the update Aaron.  Strokes are nasty things as Brian has said but wait for the full diagnosis before jumping to cocnlcusions.  We'll all keep our prayers and thoughts for a full recovery.

Hey everyone. Home from the hospital. Again.  Things finally seem to have taken a turn for the better.  Dee is up complaining about the food and Eager to get back to normal routine again.  We had a bad night bu the Docs say maybe only one more day of observation is needed and she can come home with just some medication.  Will definately have to go for some post care treatments that involve injected medications but at least she will come home.  Still suffers from dizziness when the medication wears off but we have been told that is normal and that should also pass in about 2 weeks.  As far as the cause?  I dunno still a mystery but they are going to treat the symptoms first and go from there.  My hope is in 2 weeks it is just a bad memory.

Thanks again for the kind thoughts and prayers! Means a lot really. I will be sure to let you know as soon as she gets home.

Hope those models I ordered beat her here!  ACK! Whistling [:-^]

Aaron,

Glad to hear they're letting her go home.Party [party]Make a Toast [#toast]  Hopefully this'll clear up be just a bad memory like you said.  Bad news for the UPS and USPS guys though, although if they time it right her aim will be wobbly as her meds wear off.  Bummer about the docs not figuring it out though.

Hello Everyone  ,

Aaron & Dee my hopes & prayers go out to a safe-fast recovery. Tell Dee to give the Docs & Nurses hell!! They will let her out quicker than a New York minute!!!

CAG requesting permission to come back aboard.

My apologies for being MIA but I have been working on the full size USMC aircraft on a forward deployed island. Training the young Marines to work on their new aircraft before they join fight.

I am currently dusting off my poor 1/72 Low Visibility F-14 A  Tomcat. In previous post (back in Dec.) I posted pics of my mostly scratch built cockpit. I recently got a Japanese airbrush and am looking forward to useing one again. I do have one issue, I am attempting  to find the 3 colors of grey used in the low vis sceme. The instructions call out for Mr. Hobby colors: H307, H308, H337. These colors are no longer produced.  I am trying to find the colors in Tamiya Acrylics or a close enough. Here in Okinawa Japan I can not get Testors. Any help would be appreciated.

Jason- (USMC Colonel/USMC SQ CO FAA/USN/FAW GB) Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem. Ronald Reagan, President of the United States; 1985

Hey Herc!!! Glad to see you back!!! As to your question I have a Humbrol paint conversion table, and the equivalant in Humbrol for those three are H307/Hum128, H308/Hum127, H337/Hum145. Hope that helps some. It gives Humbrol to Tamiya but none of those are on there. Will do a lil search and se if I can find anything else out but hopefully that will give you a start. HTH!!!

Dee is sprung from the hospital! Probationary status as if any ill feelings show up she must go back at once.  She is home though and I have the promise of a good nights rest for once!
