I am still waiting to start my Sea Fury.........the Cutting Edge detail set is still out of stock. Its a real shame as I am desperate to get stuck into that kit while I have a little time off work. I think I'll have to crack open another kit to stave off my FAA build cravings!!

As to which one, I'll see what I feel like when I get into the workshop.

How about the Phantom ?

Just spent another evening in front of the fire, with a large drink watching my new DVD, "Jets of the fleet Air Arm" it featured a lot of footage of Attackers, Scimitar's, Vampire's, Buccaner's, Phantom's and Sea Harriers.............superb stuff!!

Well worth a look if you come across it.

Where are you ordering the Sea Fury parts from?  I just checked over at Meteor Productions, and they appear to be in stock.

In honor of our Captain and his Top Secret Workshop out there, i decided to bring a few English girls to the party this weekend!

Oh, and i'm told they can sing too. Guess we will find out

I get my stuff from Hannants in England, they are very good-its just that the set I want happened to be out of stock at the minute. Never mind, I will just crack on with something else in the meantime..............

Wow, The struggle NOT to open my Christmas gift is awful!  The thought of all of that wonderful plastic under the tree is almost overpowering.  I can do it!  But, it will not be easy.

Well since y'all are at a more northern latitude, i know how fridged it can get during the winter months! But girls and rum will keep ya warm enough i hope!

Just saw a new product release listing for 2008 & Trumpeter/Hobby Boss is releasing an all new tooled,. detailed 1/48 Sea Fury .

For those interested, they are also releasing an all new 1/48 F-105D .  This follows their previous releases in 1/32 & 1/72.

Thanks Roger.  Around these parts this time of year, it has to warm up considerably to snow.  Not sure which I like least, snow or frigid temps!  This morning with the wind chill it was -9 degrees.  BRRR!  As for the gifts, I know I can hold out.  Just staring at it makes me drool a lot, though.

ROy- Hang in there buddy!  That Dora takes a while to load and unload outta the delivery trucks.

In the meantime, I set the Spitfire Mk.I aside for a bit until I decide whether to do some surgery to get the pilot in, or leave him out and open the side door and add the belts.  In the meantime, I have working a little on my Dauntless.  I managed to get the wings on, and filled and sanded all of the seams.  Here's how she's shaping up:

Work is getting VERY busy, so I fear my bench time will soon be at an end for a bit.  I'll still be stopping in and having a drink with the fellas.  But right now, I'm gonna take a lil' break for tea and crumpets.
