Dear friends, it is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that As of now I have to withdraw from all the GB. I was one of a few that were ask to resign or be fired from our school. Budget cutting. Maybe sometime in the next year I may be able to join again. It's that at this point in time I have to put my family first. I want you all to have a Very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year, Roy |

Roy,
I am very sorry to hear of your situation! Especially after packing up and moving across the country for that job. Keep your chin up mate, tomorrow will be better. If you are able to re-join next year, look us up- we'll still be drinkin' rum and glueing plastic!
Cheers buddy...
Darren,
I hope you don't mind if I pass out the weekend rum rations, as the lads appear a might thirsty. Gentlemen, raise your mugs for a toast! Here, here!
I spent some time on the Dauntless today, replacing the forward gun barrels with fine brass tube and adding a piece of brass screen to the front of the oil cooler. The kit part has a very fine impression of the screen, but the molding didn't quite capture all of the detail. I also managed to finish filling and sanding the seams on the wing to fuse joint, and re-scribed the lost panel lines. Here's a quick photo of the guns and oil cooler:
