I've got the Fulmar together and I have sprayed the bottom Sky colour on.  Was hoping to spray the Dark Slate on tonight but was just too tired and too much other stuff to do so thought I'd post these progress pics that were taken a couple of days ago just before I buttoned it up.  I'm surprised at how large this plane is considering it is supposed to be a fighter.  It's about the size of an Avenger.

Nice work Dave! I can't wait to see more-I just know this one's going to look fantastic!

This is my first day off after six days of shifts and I too am somewhat tired, so I will sit here by the fireside and just surf for a while............Wink [;)]

Darren-

Glad to hear you made it through the long work spell, and that you have a few days off!  I am halfway through my eight day stretch, only four more to go before a day off on Christmas Day.  I really can't wait!  Then, I will FINALLY be able to see what wonderful plastic bits Santa left for me under the tree! Hey there all you swabbies! I've actually got a chance to check in with you guys, so i figured i would come in and kick up my heels for a bit! Sorry if my input is a little out of date. But i've got a week to catch up on here...

Sorry to hear about the hard times, Roy! Seems to me that you and I are in the same boat (the HMS Hard Knocks, i think) because of budget cuts. But It surprises me that they would do that with a teacher though. I was under the impression that teachers (especially good ones) were very much in demand! But definately look to your family first. If there is anything i can do to help, lemme know, brother! Oh, and i most definately will be able to post the SS pics for Christmas, so no worries there. I may not be able to do it right on the 25th, but they will be posted. As it stands right now, internet access is kinda touch and go for me, so i gotta get it as it comes.

And no worries to Nam or the rest of the guys. As far a the GB and the forum goes, i'm not going anywhere. I'm just going to be online a little less frequently until i get the internet issue sorted out.

But as an update here, i've cleared quarters here last saturday. I've cleaned everything and put all the belongings into storage. Now i'm just hoping for some of my security deposit back. Since then, i've been "the guy on the couch" to my brothers for the last few days while i'm going to job interviews. I've got one this saturday for TSA, so i'm pretty excited about that. It's going to be a temp job of course until i can get through the application process for CBP. The process takes awhile, so I'm thinking TSA is as good a place as any. So we will see how that goes...

Other than that, i've enjoyed viewing some of the progress pics posted since last week. And thanks to Darren for keeping the rum on ice for me. It's friday here, and it's 5 o'clock somewhere. So pour me a drink!!!!Make a Toast [#toast]

To all of youse that's travelling this weekend for the holidays, be careful and stay safe. I know especially back east there is enough snow and ice to fill the whole pacific fleet. So take care, and i hope i get to see y'all back online soon!Pirate [oX)]

Warmest regards,

Roger

I hope despite circumstances, you still have a great Christmas-don't forget to check in on Christmas Eve if you can so we can all see "who got what"

Until then, watch your six and have a cold one on me.

Darren, sorry about your promotion! Sad [:(]

Roger, good luck with your job interview.

Everyone else, keep your chin up lads.

As for me... Dead [xx(]Dead [xx(]Dead [xx(] my son gave me his flu Dead [xx(]Dead [xx(]Dead [xx(] so no progress report and I'll have to pass on the rations this weekend.  Great way to start my holidays but I don't have to be back until the 2nd so I hope to finish up the Fulmar sometime soon.

Darren-

Sorry to hear about the promotion exam, but glad to hear you are taking it well.  Look on the bight side, less resonsibility so you can REALLY cut loose with the rum!  Make a Toast [#toast]Have a cold one, and relax and enjoy the holiday.

Roger-

Good luck to you, hope all goes well!  Bummer about the lack of Internet, and we'll keep some rum around for ya. Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Dave-

Now you have the flu?  That's awful mate!  Hope you feel better soon, and we'll keep your ration handy for when you are feeling better.

Today was a grueling 13 hour day!  We were moving as fast as we could, but the clients still occasionally got irritated that they had to wait.  Everyone at work really pulled together to make the best of it, though.  Only 25 more hours of work time before Christmas, I can hardly wait! Hi there lads I thought I had better stop in and see how things are going.

Daz, sorry to hear about the promotion, but I'm sure you'll do it next time Thumbs Up [tup]

Rog good luck with the job interview and remember if you don't this one there is always something else out there.

Dave being sick while you're on holidays is no fun at all, here's hoping you are up and about by Christmas day at least.

Absolutely no modeling for at least the a couple of days after Christmas as we are just too busy, but I'm off from work till the 2nd so I should be able to squeeze some bench time in.

Unfortunately my Christmas gift exchange parcel did not arrive and I don't think the post office do deliveries on Christmas eve, so I'm kinda bummed out actually Sad [:(].  I'm sure it will turn up, but I would have loved to have it for Christmas.

If I don't get back on line before Christmas here's wishing you and your family's all a safe and happy Christmas break Captain [4:-)]Make a Toast [#toast]Make a Toast [#toast] Make a Toast [#toast] Make a Toast [#toast] Pirate [oX)]

Darren, I'm saddened to hear your exchange gift hasn't got to you yet-sometimes these things just happen.......there's still time, so lets keep our figers crossed for you.Approve [^]Thumbs Up [tup]

Still no bench time for me as my 4yr old is going hyper with excitement!!!Propeller [8-] So we are off out for the day.........hopefully some football and good walk will tire him out.Wink [;)]

Is it just me or does it seem that each of us has had some sort of setback in our lives this Christmas holiday?  Dave gets the flu, Roger has to move, Im let go from my job, Darren didn't pass his test, Darren (Aussi) has yet to get his SS gift.

Given all of this I am very happy to call you guys my friends.  Plus we all have family and each other for support.  So I saw lets all raise our pints to the best bunch of friends a guy could ask for.

It's only 3 days till Christmas and please everyone take a moment with you friends and family to remember the real reason for Christmas.
