I confess I was one who had yet to test the voting system. Well, I just got back from trying it out, and it's awesome! Nice work IL2!

....and one tiny thing.....my MiG 21 from Trumpeter is actually 1/32, not 1/35. Not a biggie, but I don't want any treadheads seeing the scale and thinking that there's gonna be the name of an AFV after it. Wink [;)]

ruddratt, razor, kenny,  your stash lists are updated.
Please, everyone, check your lists for accuracy now.
Let's make Thursday @ noon the cutoff for any changes

superbear, you hinted at adding two more kits to you stash.
If you want them added, you will have to tell me which ones
you would like to replace (in order to meet the 15-kit max).

Il2,

I've run into a bit of a snag.  Many people have said they have pictures of their stash's posted, but I am unable to see them (I don't get little red X's or anything - I just see the stash list).  Is there some weird voodoo computer magic I have to do to be able to see the thumbs?

That is a good sign that you are not logged in.  I think you
will have no problems if you've logged in correctly.  Please
double check the PM I sent with your login and password.
If you still are having problems, send me a reply PM and I'll
see if I can help.  Have you successfully test-voted?

IMPORTANT
Please, anyone that has not test-voted, do so IMMEDIATELY.
Trying to fix voting problems during the voting period will be
a catastrophe that could comprimise the results of the entire
vote.  Much thanks.

i decree all who have not tested voted yet please do so voting is close . and if you have a problem and have not told Sir IL you may face the gallows Evil [}:)]

i served in the 10st AIRBORNE 1-187th Infantry it was our nickname "RAKKASANS"

during WWII the 187th jumped into japan as they did the japanese didnt have a name for paratroopers so they called them rakkasans which translated to enlish is falling down umbrellas.

Typo corrected, ruddratt

LOL, you want to build your entire stash, GREG?

Yes, you can do it that way.  Or you can upload them directly
to the server.  To perform the latter, you have to post a reply.
After typing text into the reply box, push the "additional options"
button below the text box, where you will find an option to
upload photos.

Hey IL2, I have test voted a long time ago and all is ok. I check in from time to time to view the stashes and all looks good. I do have a question though, should we see the the voting card though, I dont see that. Also do we have to use a password?, I have forgotten mine from so long ago. Sorry for so many questions and any trouble I may cause you.

Just re-read the PM i sent you back then.
It's all explained there, along with your password.

Except for the "voting card" you mentioned.
Not sure what you mean by that.

Soooooooooooooooo...the eve of voting is upon us (finally)! Big Smile [:D]

When do the polls officially open? Is it 12:01 a.m., i.e., like less than 12 hours? Or do we need to wait until sometime in the middle of the day Friday?

Obviously I expect everybody to vote on my stash before noon tomorrow so I can get fully prepped for modeling action!!! Laugh [(-D]

Just logged in to see if maybe the polls had opened a bit early...Big Smile [:D] No luck so far!

One question - what happens if there's a tie between kits? Who does the final build decision come down to?

O.K. fellas, here's the plan...

Since this Great Nation is vast enough to have SIX TIMEZONES,
and since it seems that everything is checked, re-checked, and
ready to go (thanks in a large part to all of your help), I will plan
to open the polls at 12:00 midnight tonight, east coast time.
That means that west-coast guys can start voting at 9:00 tonight.

As soon as I have opened the polls, I will post a big bold message
that will announce the beginning of the vote.  Unless you hear
otherwise from the King on this matter, plan per the above.

3 hours and counting...
Hawkster

P.S.
Sorry I have not reported earlier, was busy running errands all day.
