Good! Can't wait to see the finished product. I know that in the Phillip Gore FSM article the interior was very detailed. It looks like a good model. My Airfix B-26 on the other hand...

Great,

I think the B-17 was considered more of a heavy bomber than a medium bomber.

Raptor, I think the BF-110 was considered more of a heavy fighter than a bomber, kind of like a P-38. Sorry about that.

Here is a great walkaround reference. This website is good for most any kind of plane, tank, ship, etc. If you look under Props at the right you should find your plane:

Mist I'll sign you up. My Airfix b-26 has lots of flash too and lots of parts clean up since it's an old kit.

Alrighty then.  The JU-88 it is.  It's a 1/72 Revell of Germany kit.  Old old kit.  ALOT of flash.  Better go stock up on sanding sticks

I'm not Commander here.....but I believe all medium bombers of WW2 vintage qualify.....a Ju 88 should be fine.....just review all the posts on Page One.

Bummer. Is it allied only?  I don't know about bombers.  I'm more of the hack and slash planes.  I have a JU-88 and a 17.  Either those work?

Mist, the B-24 doesn't fit into the guidelines for this GB. If you look at page 1 you'll see the medium bomber's ranges, weight loads, etc. The B-24 is actually a heavy bomber and is over the guidelines. Do you have any other planes that fit for this GB? Sorry about that.

I'll join in this one.  My other 2 GB' entries are nearing completion.  I'll be doing a 1/48th Monogram B-24J.  It'll fit nicely next to the B-25J i just completed.

I guess the new badge is official.

I opened up  my B-26 today (got it in the mail) and saw there are raised panel lines on the fuselage. Do you guys have any tips for me to scribe them? Also i found that there is a lot of detail on the bulkheads and engines, but not much detail in other places. Do you guys know of any detail sets or good references so I can scratch build?

The photo itself is way cool!......Perhaps if you could print "WWII Medium Bomber" across the wings......and add "G B" over the stabilizers.....the contrast would make even smaller font easier to read.

One the other hand.....I knew what it said without having to really read it....so I'm happy with the original.

I got those two kits A and B.

Mirage Hobby made those as short runs. Out of production for some time. Those may be available somewhere at LHS but squadron does not have them anymore.  The kit has a lot of aftermarket parts and i am going to get all available including engine details.

I saw one very bad review of this kit made by Swanny but to build this kit you have to dedicate your hearth to it Smile [:)] otherwise it will be a struggle.

I saw absolutely fantastic builds of this kit and I wish I can make something like that.

This model was made by Maciek Zywczyk
