Just going to flatcoat the bomb, its too shiny. I've stuck a few more plants on the base and I'm going to attempt to make a palmtree, found some good techniques for scratchbuilding a tree in the diorama section. Lots of knowledge on this site! Smile [:)]

 Keith,

That plane looks very realistic, just a fantastic job.

I don't think you need to do much more on it.

OK, I did a little more to mine the other night.  I finished wiring the engine for #2, and painted the plug leads as well.  The color of the crankcase housing is really not as blue as the photos make them look, must be picking up the blue from the background.  Here's how they look:

NICE engines, I didn't bother detailing mine in the end. Still working on the base, it's kind of turned into a small diorama. Scratched two palm trees, chocks and a bomb trailer too. Will be adding a few figures when I get them.

Well its finished! I've added some figures, pilot is the kit part, moved his right arm down a bit. Groundcrew are from a Tamiya Zeke kit, Japanese figures turned into Americans! I added milliput hair and changed their poses a bit. Scratchbuilt a little toolbox for one of the figures too.

I'll be getting another Tamiya Corsair, its a great kit!

Cripes a mighty that is just Breathtaking. You are truly a Master with your Modeling. Seeing stuff like this makes me think I should of stuck with Hotwheels and Play~dough.

I can not even begin to mark the Highlights of this build. Your figures look like they should walk and talk.. Bow [bow] Bow [bow] Bow [bow]

Wow...Alfaspud - that looks awesome. Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

One of the best parts to me is how your metallic paint chipping actually looks "random", rather than a collection of "chipped paint brush strokes". Great stuff!

Wow!!  Keith, that is one fantastic, well-used Corsair!  Make a Toast [#toast]  I'm glad I finished mine some time ago 'cuz I probably wouldn't even attempt it after seeing your great work.  I haven't been in here in a while - nice to see all you guys doing such great work.  This was an outstanding GB.

Well I got the resin parts primed for the F2G today (thank God for the nice weather). Next weekend I,ll start the detail painting, then I can begin final assembly. The resin parts aren't the greatest but they don't look too bad. Hopefully I can get some pics up next weekend once the resin is fully painted

Absolutely incredible, Keith, absolutely incredible Bow [bow]

Now don't forget, guys - there's officially only 3 weeks left in this GB.  But if we vote on it, I don't see why it can't be extended.
