dupes,

Not to fear, my man, I'm still here.  The /4 is sitting on my bench, all neat and pretty inside its little bags.  I'll be starting on it no later than the 20th...

Looks like Feb could be a good month for getting some finsihed 251's. I been thinkng that after i finish my /17 and my Triebflugel for the Fantasy Fliers GB, i may be able to squeeze in another 251 before starting my kugelblitz.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Of course, I am sooooooo broken hearted over your lack of comment on my completed Stug IV Boohoo [BH], I might be too busy getting therapy to build anymore this year... Tongue [:P]

No worries.  Mostly, I'm just bustin' your stones - I posted it when you were taking a bit of a breather from things so we didn't see you around for a couple of days.  But, hey, if I shamed ya into it... all the better Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

lol, probably not actually. I doubt i will have time to do a conversion job. I have just ordered 3 more 251 kits which will take me up to 13 including my /17. Once i have finished that and my build for the FF GB i will see what versions have not been built and compare that with the ones i have. So i am thinking on the lines that someone can't complete their build.

But, on saying that, i have the Tamiya /1 Ausf D i am keeping for a conversion. So when i get home i will look into the un asigned versions and see if i think i am able to do one of those.

March, eh? How about you push that scratchbuilding project back a wee bit and head for the 251 first...? Whistling [:-^]

Just want to make sure that everyone has enough time to bang out their builds and not be too rushed at the very end (right when summer starts) to finish the way they'd like to.

Those wingie thingies could probably hold off for a while too, couldn't they? Laugh [(-D]

dupes: I just received my FSM and saw at the back that there will be an article on working with PE in the next issue..on the stands Feb 1.  I will probably wait to read that before busting out the Stuka, G*D knows I'll need the help...PE and I don't seem to work well togetherBanged Head [banghead].  panzerguy is also sending me a link for a reasonably priced set of PE tools, which will hopefully make things easier.

Again, don't sweat my build, I got it coveredThumbs Up [tup]...heck at the pace I'm building at now I may be able to crank out my L/70 Lang for "1000 Road Wheels' before my next FSM arrives!!!

Thanks man.  Glad to hear you are back into the groove and crankin' out some builds.  Got any WIPs going?

bbrowniii: Shoot me a reminder PM on those tools.  Go see my "Weathering a T34/85..." for a WIP.  I'm also posting more WIP of that same build in the Red Storm GB.  Did you see my Flakvierling thread?  It's complete..except for some fig's, which I plan to get on there within a couple weeks!

Yes, Mr. Nut, I am back. Adjusting (somewhat) to my single-guy schedule. I really really thought that I would have TONS more spare time when it was just me around the house...MAN was I wrong!

Getting myself back into the normal swing of things though, should see some output from me sometime soon. Wink [;)]Thumbs Up [tup]

dupes - ill see what I can do.. Wink [;)]

SMJ - I know they can be pricey, but PE tools save so much time in the longrun... I tried PE handles & grab handles on a 72 scale for Big Cats, was able to accomplish the task very nicely (as for the rest of the build. well..... lol )

You can purchase the Mission Models tools from Lucky models, usually cheaper and FREE air shipping, just dont order anything else!

As for glue, I am using Gator's Grip glue, water-soluble, you can clean up exces with a damp paintbrush. For me works better than CA; slower setting and I dont have to worry about a "CA glob". CA is still better if you want instant bond with an acelerator.

Hey Dupes I'm still hereBig Smile [:D]. I'll be hitting this one as soon as my current project is finnished.

I was trying to find a pe set for the /22 but no luck. Couldnt find a set just for the /22. I think this one will be done oob. I'm actually looking foward it. Since these first made their appearance around late Dec.of 44 I'm leaning towards a winter motif.

As soon as I'm finished with this GB I'm going to be working on one thing only, my dio for this years AMPS east.

Here's some update pics of my Falke so I can get my name of the naughty list. I'm nearing completion. The batteries are wired up  and the scratch built generator is wired up to the spare battery so she'll be all charged and ready to go. Working on the night vision devices right now. Sorry about the pics being a bit blurry, in a hurry to get the pics done so I can get building again.

Looking really good, Pz88.  Like the camo scheme.  Wouldn't worry too much at this time about whether you're on the naughty or nice list; it won't really matter for about another 350 days.  Wink [;)]

Well I am here sort of.  I know I have not been on the forum as much as I use to be.  My wife giving birth to our daughter, new job.  Oh yeah then getting let go from said job on Tuesday has got me seriously depressed.  I did get some work done on my /23.  I decided to just go OOTB.  I didn't heed the warings about prefitting and had to do some filling.  But it is looking ok, I guess.  Sorry my mind is just not in building right now.  But I will finish.

Here it is.  I got the magic tracks all together.  WOW nice but tricky to keep together while installing the pad.

Good stuff moose! Looking like your moving right along!! Did you see the post here where WingNut made that little grooved jig for the tracks? Probably too late now but it really is a good idea. Makes it soooooo much easier to handle them puppies!

Moose - sorry to hear about your job. I'm sure you'll find a way to work through it! Smile [:)] Nice work on the /23 so far - glad to hear you're making progress!

Panzer88 - that scheme looks really sweet. Like the exposed wiring! Big Smile [:D]

As for the "naughty" list, it's really only about 180 days left. 8th of June, gentlemen! Unlike 1,000 Roadwheels, this GB does NOT go 'til the end of the year! Shock [:O]

Keep your noses to the grindstone!

OK you gys I'm mad right now at the hold PE world, that's "Photo-etch" for not haveing the spring looking seat backs like they say. I have got my hand on 3 PE set that said spring backs for the 250 & 51s but the backs are flat and has 4 holes in them. An of you know of a PE set the realy has the spring seat backs in it. Right know I'm back to work on my build as I had stoped, from being so mad an I'm making my own spring looking seat backs. I don't know if they will look all that right but I will poat pix soon and you all can tell me what you think.
Building the Impossible Is my main goal!!
