Did not work on it much last night...had to watch some of the Halloween season horror movies on tv..
my take on buiding this is, dont follow the instructions....or the picture instructions.
since there are not any real locating places, and it seems the cockpit/front wheel and intake, dont really have the right contours to follow the Fuselage closely.
so after a lot of putzing with it, I assembled the Fuselage first. the aforementioned parts will slif in from the bottom.
On the cockpit, I left off the Instrument panel, and also installed it after the cockpit was in place. Nothing in the cockpit area is going to follow the contours well, and the gaps are huge. So one has to consider this a "view from several feet away" model.
to install the Intake thingy, I tacky-glued a toothpick to the back of it and slid it in to the fuse. this let me align it, and then I glued it. it too has gaps, and darn it the gaps are at the top and bottom on the Intake "cone" thing-shape. Can you guess I dont know Jet part names lol.
the exhaust cone thing will/does fit into an assembled fuse, although not seen, I need to go pt it on after this post, cause it wil need a dollop of filler for sure.
The wings were fun too..... top and bottom parts go together ok, but the fuse fit is a test of patience and a steady hand. It is NOT going to line up well, so just look for the bset overall comprimise, that being a best dihedral and 90deg to fuse fit.
the horiz stab is also a test of patience, so just a drop of slower glue to putz around with while you line it up in all directions.
do have some .01 card stock handy you will need it!
