Got my XP-56 yesterday.  Looks like a neat kit.  Shouldn't be too difficult to put together - except having to wait 2 1/2 months to start Laugh [(-D]

lewbud,

I posted the correct YF-16... Thumbs Up [tup]

My observation is that P/B isn't so much hacked as that you have to set up your account to NOT allow public access, and take steps to rename your images so that your username/password isn't obvious if someone "rightclicks" on your posted image.

I've been using the Bucket for well over two years and once in a while these issuses do come up. I just had this problem on July 3rd. Photos showed on site as being removed by the Bucket then about 5 hours later the pics were back.

Spiralcity,

Not the variant of the YF-16 I'm building, here's a pic of the YF-16CCV and the X-29.

Photobucket has a tendency to remove photos that are borrowed from other sites. I want to see how long the previous images last.

I will post a photo here hosted by villagephotos.

Let's see which photo hoster is better.

In all actuality, it may be the site that your borrowing the photo from that is removing the photo (well, actually changing the linked URL).  Website owners have the ability to see who is hotlinking their photos and can simply make a slight change the to the URL and make your picture go bye-bye.

The best thing to do is to save the picture to your harddrive and then upload it to photobucket.  Unless it's an obviously trademarked photo, I doubt photobucket even cares.

I'm not sure what goes on at photobucket, but images are removed quite often. Latley pics have been disappearing then reappearing. i dont have these problems at The Village. I want to see what happens over the next week with this new set of borrowed images.

I heard photobucket was hacked. Perhaps this is causing some of the problems I've been experiencing lately.

Bondoman,

You dont have to wear the badge. It's not required for the build. It's their for anyone who may want to use it.

I was going to build the XP-77 but Viper wants to build that kit also so I decided to change my build to a XF2R-1 Dark Shark US Navy Turboprop.

I want to see as many strange planes here as possible... Thumbs Up [tup]

Pics of the DARK SHARK:

Not likely!

Red13Bar  is trying to get some intrest into a build that is similar to this. So I felt that no crossovers had to be stated.

Oh, for sure, it was a joke. After all the point is to be as unique as possible. I'm really excited about this one.

The second and last of the two short flights was completed just as the war came to an end. Total flying time for the Shinden was approximately 45 minutes. "

And i found this rare real footage clip in You Tube

Spiralcity, you can put me down for the Bell XP-77.  I may add to that later with either the McDonnell XV-1 Convertiplane, or the Piesecki VZ-8P AirJeep.
