I am really enjoying your personal GB... thanks for doing this. It would take me more than a year to finish all four at my snail pace...
Andy
The second scheme came out awesome I second what Andy said, real nice to see all the variants here all at once! Look forward to camo scheme number 3, get er done
Rob
I think i've got a paint scheme picked out for the L/48 but it's hard edge and that would take to much time to tape off but it would be easy to do it soft. We'll see
Thanks for the high sign buddy
Hi Tony!
It's a great little collection taking shape there! I'm really impressed by you multi-tasking ability!
I especially like the overview one gets when you line them up on a row - you can easily see the difference between the versions - and together they form a whole platoon!
/Tony
The line-up is shaping up for inspection Tony, looking good! My vote would be soft-edge for the L/48 given where it sits in the development timeline of the whole gang but that's just me.

Hot Dang another Yea
Thanks Gamer now go find Stuart and calm him down and fear not.
I always thought that shorter L/48 or in this case L/39 looked best with schurzen, as opposed to the longer L/70. That being said, I still might do my L/70 with the schurzen.
OK Eric
In my offical capacity you have my permission.

Again, nice work on the camo Tony. Paint may not be your favorite thing but for what it's worth I think you're doing a fine job. Look forward to seeing a group shot.

Thank You One and All
Mike i've got to work on my end, my bench is too low to stand up and work on these.
Sorry the Devil made me do it.
Hey guys I was going to use LifeColor on this last one for a little shade difference but the dang stuff wouldn't even spray it dried on the tip so fast. Super thinning and 10 to 20 psi didn't even help. The AB needle and tip was a #2 or #3, my next size is a #5 and to big for fine work.
What kind of retarder do I need to make LifeColor workable with a small needle????
That for the info help and your compliments
Tony this whole thread is a real treat... just went quite a ways back...and I can't beleive i have chimed in even in my MIA state. Well I'm chimin' now... Lovin' all of it.
Marc
all are looking Great Tony. !
sorrry.. .but got no advice on the Lifecolor.., maybe turn down the air pressure some ?
Can't help you with the Lifecolor question Tony but will say that I really like that camo pattern...nice!
No excuses Marc, it's better to have you late than never my friend. I've really enjoyed doing this project myself.
P38 i've been back there trying this and that with the LifeColor but nothing works in a .2 needle/nozzle. It sprays pretty good through a larger size nozzle and for brushing but forget the small detail stuff.
But Bill do you Really Really Really Like It??????
Appreciate it folks
I dunno Tony.. other than the other things.. a drop of dish soap ? windwasher fluid??.. alcohol..?..( not the drinking kind ).. maybe a drop of Future added ??
I'm not a big acrylic fan myself.. I stick to MM as best I can...I have used tamiya and MM acrylics.. but their not my fav by far...
I haven't used Lifecolor paints Tony. Are you thinning with water or their thinner? Since they're water based paint MM Acryl thinner might work but if you don't already have some it would be a little expensive to experiment with. Either Liquitex or Golden brand retarder would probably work. Or, you could get a bottle of glycerin for $2 - 3 in the local pharmacy and give that a try. It's a clear skin care product and is probably an ingredient in other acrylic retarders. I've used it with Tamiya and Acryl paints and it worked. I'd suggest that whatever you use that you mix a few drops with whatever thinner you're using and then mix with your paint. Seems to work better that way for me.
Hey Tony
I've got lifecolor thinner and Liquitex acrylic retardant. It says to reduce it 25% with water which I did then added 1 then two then 3 drops to a small amount of thinned color. It dried on the tip right off the bat every time.
I mixed in a separate container with a Badger mixer.
