Other changes from issue to issue:
Sometimes the drive sprocket is in front, sometimes it's in the back
Jeb's commander's cupola varies back in forth from left of the main gun to right.
Shape and existence of the drivers' hatches
Muzzle brake shape
Engine deck configuration
But who can complain right? These were comic books, and not shop drawings. All the more for the aspiring "Jigsaw Tank" builder to fiddle with. The craziest thing is to settle on the eventual shape of the turret. In some issues, it defies any known laws of physics -- almost an Escher drawing.
BTW: I recommend scratchbuilding the turret, not just dropping the Tamiya M41. Also note the shortened hull (count the roadwheels) as opposed to an actual T-34.
