You need help.
I suggest you join MA (Modelholics Anonymous).
First, sign up for Finescale Modeler online forums. There you can seek help from many others who share your addiction. They can offer advice and tips on how to deal with this serious issue. The members will allow, and even encourage you, to speak openly about how this addiction is affecting you. The hardcore amongst them even post photos and will ramble on about rust, zimmerit, invisible barrel seams, counting rivets and other oddities modelholics are prone to discuss.
The worst thing you can do is model alone. Join the forums.....we can help.
Second, post lots of WIP photos. This allows you to be creative and lets others see how you deal with your addiction. The more you post, the easier it is to come to grips with your problem.
Third, and most important. If you just can't stop buying models, you will accumulate more and more kits and eventually create a "stash". This is a sign of a serious addiction. The problem with a stash is that it keeps growing and growing and can totally overwhelm a normal household. If and when that happens, do yourself a favor and open up your own Hobby Store. We actually need more of these because there's actually way more modelholics that we care to admit and they need to buy more models too.
From one modelholic to another....I hope this helps.
BTW, if you've done all of the above already.....well, there's no hope for ya buddy! Build that Brummbar and move on to the next model!!
