The First Annual Mad Tiger Day has begun.

Post your starting pic as your time zone allows and off you go...

Due to lack of a commercial Email account, I have to scrap the idea of anonymous final pics, I would need to set up a schedule for submitting and the logistics wouldn't be worth it. Post your final shots here and I'll get them for the website. This may be better anyway, so we can post progress photos as well.

All are welcome, just post anytime after 12:01 August 8 your TZ.

Good luck!

Are there Australian guys in the build? If so, I don't blame them for not posting yet. I mean, if you set aside an entire day to build a model, you want to focus on the building. I don't know how much posting I'll be doing.

Larry, you betcha, even the Phillipines too.
I plan on posting while glue and paint dry. And to check in throughout.

William, It's fine. If you want to email pics to me, I'll post 'em, My account just can't handle everyone sending them at once.

Clock's ticking gentlemen. Wink [;)]

Very tired, quite drunk but still very much part of MTD. Have had serious discussions with both GF and alarm clock. Viva MTD! Am alll set, but have quite a narrow window thanks to both myself and girlfriend! Good luck to all!

10 hours to go in the Eastern US.
i have taken some pics of my stuff (airfix & Dragon) just for comparison purposes,
and tried to get some close ups of the molded in Zim on the Dragon kit.

took all the pieces out of the plastic and washed them.
they are drying on towels, every piece still on the sprue.

guess i should go pick up some beer
perhaps Foster's in honor of Matt (who will now say that it's only fit for Yanks!)
:-)

good luck to all.
looking forward to the build.
guess i will go read my instructions.

I've been thinking. I don't have weather chanel, Im planing on starting at 00.01 hours so no news paper will be available at this time. But I have an alarm clock that is radio controled from Frankfurt, so I will take a picture of that together with the unstarted kit at 00.01 hours. 2 and a 1/2 hours to go.

Well, I was hoping to see a few "starting line" pictures before I hit the sack, but I'm sure there will plenty tonight. It's 3:00 here in Pensacola and I'll be crashing until midnight shortly.

I've got my unopened kit sitting next to the TV in the hobby room and have already taken one test picture just to see if the TV date and time were clearly visable...they were! Now to get a good 8 hours sleep before I start - I know I'm going to need it!

Enjoy your modeling...

It's the dateline Foster, get's 'em every time... Big Smile [:D] One of the things I both love and hate about travelling across the Pacific. Lose a day going out, gain it back coming in...but usually the day lost is a weekend day and the one gained is a workday! Sad [:(]

You guys really going to crack this thing at midnight?

Right now I'm just waiting for this big black cloud to pass so I can grill some Brats...No worries here. Just anticipation. Gorgeous temp in NY, about 64. Workbench clean. I'm not starting until the AM though, an empty house and the usual sleep deprivation I live mean I'm taking full advantage. I can't see this taking more than 12 hours, so an 8 AM start for me...

Hats off to you guys!
