The chasis is a GMC can't pull the exact model off the top of my head though. It's the old squared of front end style though. I'd say if a chasis is available it could be a good first time scratch build for me. The tank and dump tank should be easy enough. The only thing that could be a challenge would be the pump on the front. Got any tricks for those?

ok I'll try this again, had to go to another brush fire. I forgot to get some pics of the tanker for you, had the camera at the station and all but about the time I remembered got a tone for a brush fire and had to take the engine to town for a parade after that. Been a busy weekend with a festival they have here. I'll try to get those before I go out of service again though.

hey cris, yes i have seen that. i saw an add for it in firehouse mag a year or so ago. my wifes aunt was seeing a guy who was a fire fighter, and he would bring the mags to her house and then i would snag onto them. that seems like one hell of a truck thats for sure. i was looking at that site just a few weeks ago and was wondering when they were going to have it done? its going to be bad allright.
p.s. the pics of the ford are in the mail as of monday morning, i swear!!!!!!

Did'nt know if you had run across this site yet. they have had this project going for a while now and thought it might give you an idea for a scatchbuild/conversion job. I personally would not mind haveing a 1:1 of this beast but if I did it would make the depat look bad since it would be better than a few of our trucks.
