Battletech got in to trouble of for copy right of some of their most popoular mech. here is a list
with there battletech name and orginal show name.

http://brianscache.com/unseen/
Battletech name Wasp   Macross Name - VF-1S  Revell Robotech Defenders (Vexar)
Battletech name Griffin  Dougram  Name - H8 Roundfacer  Revell Robotech Defenders (Thoren)
Battletech name Rifleman  Macross Name - Defender Robotech, Exo Squad  (Raidar X)
Battletech name Archer  Macross Name -  Spartan Robotech, Exo Squad  (Gladiator) The name Spartan is used for the Longbow / Phalanx as well.
Battletech name Warhammer  Macross Name - Tomahawk Robotech, Exo Squad  (Excaliber Mk VI)
Battletech name Marauder  Macross Name - Glaug Officer's Tactical Pod Robotech, Exo Squad  (Glaug Pod),

Theses are one I know they have made models of.  I would love to get a Rifleman but they are getting rare there for expensive.

Heck ya I play! I have quite the collection of those little buggers. been a while since I had a game though.

Some people spend their whole lives wondering if they made a difference. Gundams don't have that problem.

Wow, check THOSE out! Can't believe how expensive those kits are, or I'd be all over those 8" tall resin guys...especially that Vulture. Didn't think that the metal gaming miniatures were still available either - have tons of those still in a toolbox from my Battletech days.

Any of you guys play (or played)?

And to REALLY drive you batty, Armorcast had previously produced the Mad Cat and Vulture in 1/60th scale resin kits. They stood about 8 inches tall.

If you mean the MechWarrior PC game series, that would be under BattleTech, the miniatures of which are produced by Iron Wind Metals.

I believe this is the Mad Cat Mk.II you may be referring to.

If you're thinking of the Mad Cat II "clicky toy," that would be MechWarrior: Dark Age made by Wizkids.
