Here is a shot of the speeders work from last night, i sanded the body panel smooth and made the access hole to show more detail on the inside of the speeder. Will use sheet styrene and styrene rod and tubes to make the detail, now i have to cut out the the other side...

Thank you again, I am going away from the traditional snowspeeder on this build but those photos are giving me inspiration for my second kit to build it just like the movie model. Awesome sites that you have found!!!

user="Mitth'raw'nuruodo"]That looks really good.  I like the lights on the instrument panel.Big Smile [:D]

rossjr did a fantastic job on his interior. It is sad that amt didnt put more detail in the kits that they produced but it gives us builders something to strive for in our builds....

You did an excellant job on the pilots for this kit,I wont be using mine as I think they are to hard to work with, I bought a few of those replacement panels but on this one im not trying to go original with the interior,  I have added so many things to it that isnt on the studio model, like video monitors and such, even on the outside body ill be changing things up like taking off the some of the detail thats molded into it now and add other items here and there. Basically im trying to make it like a vehicle that was taken from salvage in order to be used again for fighting purposes. CultTVMan is a good site however and so is starshipmodeler for aftermarket detail sets for sci-fi.

I've been looking at actual studio models and the Master Replicas Models made from reference taken from the studio models.

Also looking at full size set pieces for reference.

I'll be keeping an eye on this since I am reworking my vintage model.

I already removed all the inaccurate surface detailing.

I am finally going to finish this kit for a contest at my lhs.(actually they are now closed in 12/09) I have never liked the sparse interior and lack of detail on these kits so im going crazy with it, the interior is practicaly scratchbuilt using 1/35th scale german armor kit parts. Also adding same detail to any opened hatch. Hope to have this one done soon...
