Is it any different than the old one?

From what I have been able to tell, heck yea.  Goobs of detail, is a better scale in 1/35th allowing for more use of detail parts like those wonderful hollow exhaust pipes from Russia.  You get 2 AFS figures, a Mel and a Gustav.  That mean you do not have to spend blood finding a Mad Dog copy of the Gustav suit.

Kits I am aware of:  Nitto 1/76 plastic version, can find, but starting to get up there in $.  Good detail, about the size of 1/35 Armor.

1/20 Vac Hull w/resin turret.  Not too sure, believe Rainbow Egg, or maybe from a fella on MK Forum.  BIG, great detail and hock the kid to get a copy!

WF version I think, again, another one for the collector.

And now, the Hasegawa version as I mentioned above.  If you are into Ma.K, this will be a must, or if you set back too long and wait for a price drop!  They will all be gone and you will pay w/blood to get a copy from some guy hording them in a far away country???????

I pre-ordered mine from a model supplier in Japan and saved about $40.00 from what the kit will retail for, which I believe will be over $100.00.  Steep, yes, but have seen pic's of the parts and the kit is the top of the food chain.

So, as stated before, I for one am excited to see this come along and wish they would @ some later date pop a Oskar tooBow Down
