This includes, sadly, TNG, whose last two film efforts have been critical and box office failures. TNG is over. Trek needs to reinvent itself a bit, shake things up, and for it to succeed, it needs to avoid those properties and characters folks have been rejecting (DS9, VOY, ENT, and now TNG). Putting Frakes into a new series would be counter-productive to reestablishing Trek for the 21st Century.
