Thank you.  I've never thought of a 1/144 kit to break up the monotony.  That's a great idea.  Come to think of it, it definately feels that way.  Now on to the prime and paint stage.  Thanks for visiting!

Wow, thats a tiny little thing. I built an Academy He 111 last year and was surprised to see the detail. Nice little kits.

I've never made a bi-plane as of the present.  I made the Monogram Wright Brothers aircraft when I was 8 or 9.  I'm looking forward to your 1/72 Camel thread.  Will it be a WIP project?  I'll keep an eye out.  Good luck!

Toshi, those things are so tiny that there is not much 'in progress' to show!  I had it built in the time from when I woke up on Saturday to when my kids woke up...painting and decaling took a bit longer, but I was still able to finish it in a weekend.

I will probably post pics tomorrow  (saturday) when I can get some good light, as it is right now, I leave for work when it's dark, and don't return home until it's dark....

Going from a 1/32 kit to a 1/144 is quite a jump and you do fine justice to both. I'd like to try doing this one because I need a quick and easy build to as you said "break the monotony". I've been working on my Wife's favorite kit the PT-109 and I just can't help myself not to put many hours in improving the Revell's kit details. I usually enjoy detailing up a kit but the last few have almost been a chore.

Thank you Uncle Jay Jay.  The PT-109 kit is a very cool build!  I remember putting this very kit together at 8 or 9 years old.  I thought the torpedo tubes were really cool and I still think so.

Now you've got me wanting to pick up a PT-109 kit!  LOL!  The different scale here is refreshing to do.  I would have never attempted a 1/144 if it wasn't for it being a B-17G.

Here is my grandson.  We spent the whole day together.  Now that mommy is here, I'm working on the B-17G. 

Model Master OD with a Vallejo light gray bottom.  Next up is the gloss coat then decals.

Here is the next update.  I sprayed Model Master Gloss Clear Acrylic #4638 yesterday. I've also attached the landing gears and propellers.  These are minuscule at best!  LOL!

Next up, decals and then to seal everything in with Model Master Flat Acrylic #4636.

I'm going to look at adding one of these to my collection some day.  :)
