Rob and Bill thanks for the feed back guys Yes

Bill , i never looked to see if there is a A.M. upgrade for this kit . a A.M. upgrade for this old kit with a resin engine and some P.e. would be great . Course , the price might be rediculouse , which would keep me from getting it .

Rob , sweet that kit your daughter got you . Wow ! Who'd of thunk it , how did she know ?Whistling Your going to be alone ? well except for your guard dog . You should have plenty of time to work on models then . Did you get your Sprue Bros . order yet ? I still havent ordered , one of the kits i want is out of stock .

STIK - Sounds as if you had some experience with that LVT (A) 1.  I look forward to building it.

BILL - Do you plan AM possibilities for your engine / jeep or scratch built?

CARL - Alone Yes.  The girls went to check and help out family.  They have not been doing well, not horrible just not good.  Going to try to take advantage of this time and wrap other projects up and get into this one.  My Sprue Bros. order should be here tomorrow Stick out tongue  What are you ordering?

Carl- Great work on the engine! Yes  Wish my car engine looked like that...

Rob- Nice gift from your daugther!  Enjoy your freedom...

Guys- Universal Stuido has been GREAT!  We were able to get on most rides and saw all of shows except for kids shows.  They provided sign language interpreters.  I am so beat after spending few days at the park so I will be chilling out for the rest of the trip.

Yep, Bart Simpson told me to get that Dragon M4A3 Sherman PTO kit.   Had to get it  for only $24 after seeing the email promotion from Sprue Brothers.

Ah! I want to start on mine, I need to do something different than aircraft, it kind of gets boring doing the same subject all the time.

ANDY - Glad you are having good time on vacation.  Nice snag on that M4A3.

STIK - That looks Great Yes  Love that early gray color.  Now I want to really get started on mine.

WW2PSYCHO - Why don't ya go ahead and start?  Give Carl some building company Wink

CARL - The jeep is looking GREAT Yes  Really nice work Beer

I have never built a Hobby Boss kit.  Keep checking with Sprue Bros. because they may restock before the sale is over.

From what I understand, England, Christmas is more getting together with family / friends.  Now Boxing Day is more like what were use too, gifts, parties, etc..

Bill and Rob thanks you guys ! Glad to read your comments . This is my first attempt at this much scratch detail on an engine .

Bill the getting things aligned is the biggest part of building this model . I still see things that arent straight with each other but i'm not going back to fix them now .

Rob  i've never built Hobby Boss either but i looked up a review on the net and the Pershing looks good . I've been checking by the way . I couldnt find those MM figure paints at Sprue Bros. I'm thinking of looking at Valejo paints .

Well guys my youngest son and his daughter will be here thru the holidays and my oldest son will be here for Christmas sothis'll be a good Christmas . I'll be sneaking away and working on the jeep so i'll be checking in on the g.b. at least daily . When my youngest son leaves he'll be leaving his border collie and cat with us until Feb. of 2013 , 3 dogs and a cat . Thats a lot of fur and poop to clean up !

Merry Christmas to all!

Started the sherman, after looking through the instructions and the photo I found plus the model that was shown on page 3, Im going to have to do some guessing on whats correct and what isnt. The picture of the model doesnt show any extra armor and I cant tell in the origonal picture because its the wrong side of the tank. Not sure where the guy that built the model found his references but I couldnt find any.

ANDY - Gad you and the family had a good time on vacation and that you are back in time for Christmas Yes  Hope you have a good one.

PSYCHO - Merry Christmas.

Good to hear that you have started up Yes  I would guess the modeler used some imagination to fill in any empty gaps for that one on page 3.  Look forward to your updates.

Im trying to match the instruction options with the picture. From the little that is visible I can tell that there is no extra armor on the sides or turret, no .50 machine gun. The road wheels dont match the option with the same turret as in the instructions, did this vary a lot?

Im going with this tank hasent seen action before as its being off loaded so some things will be on my tank that arent on the one on the 3rd page. I just dont see why some of them arent on here to begin with.

Carl- Jeep looking good!  Just set up booby traps on your workbench... it should keep the cat off for a very long time. Big Smile
