Its Tamiay's German Hanomag SdKfz 251 1/1

I'm debating to paint it European Gray of dark yellow W/camo.

John,

I just finished painting a Sdkfz 250 in German Grey and they look the goods.
I got a bit sick of seeing three colur camoflauge, so it has made a nice change. They look sort of meaner, I think. More purposeful. I'll post pics soon.

What were your other choices?

ddayomaha, your wish is "Their" command, I guess they finally got around to a sticky! lol
sorry if it offends any out there-after the build is over, I will personally remove it as a topic--lol. I think that I will go with an all green euro theater painting, then salt methodize it, then paint it desert.(for my quad of course) For the M20, I want to do somthing out of the ordinary again-maybe a hot rod finish...naw german all the way...oh well, i figure it out...

Hello All, I am new to the forum but have been leeching ideas for a little while. -But havent really started modeling anything seriously yet. I should introduce myself in the newbie section, but I figured that this place would prolly be more appropriate.

If it is OK with everyone I have a pair of Schwimmwagon 166's (Tamiya) that would love to come to the party.
-Man, I must be playing to much Battlefield 1942 on PC... I'm a Schwimmwagon fanatic now.

Anyway, if there is anyone doing a 166, keep me in mind. I will be happy to share pictures of my progress as (if) it happens...

hmm, doesn't look like I'll be able to take part in this. Too much other stuff going on. If I manage to finish my towed gun, I'd like to try for the Vietnam Era group build.

Welcome to the forum mrsniffles!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As I have previously mentioned, you might want to leave before you become obsessed with 5 shiny red stars like the rest of us. Anywhoo, Can't wait till sunday can we????????????????? I guess I could switch the time to tomorrow-Friday in the states-Friday anywhere else-as it is the beginning of the weekend. I motion that we change our start date to the 2nd of April-I need a second of course, as this is a "group" build.
any?"

Nope, no completion date. I won't allow any new builders after about May 20 or so.

I'm planning to start next week when I get back in town, but I can't promise much through April, school is giving me a major butt whooping right now - I'll make time for the build though, I always seem to be able to do that.

Allright guys, go ahead and count me in. Through the nudgeing of a couple of other members I will try to finishe the kettenkrap (oops did i put that) motorcycle. Also could throw in my half-track with quad 50's that is about half built right now. Somehow I'll fit building those in with finishing up a Sherman, building a M113 and a rather large fireturck. i will try to convince my wife to jump in with the M20 armored car that she has and may be she can finishe up her British quad truck as well.

Mourningstar on Scorn's computer agin, well I was woundering?, Scorn has a M-977 Hemmit sitting on a shelf and I have the Dragon Wagon. would either or both of them be eligable for the group build? The sped at which he does his model's he could probly have it done somewhere in like a two week time frame. The Dragon Wagon of mine one the other hand would take a little longer.(dang 600+ pieces). If either of them would qualify, I might be able to talk him into doing that one next, seeing as how he just finished his M1A1,(except for a few smaller details) Let me know what you think Beav, and I'll talk to him.

Till then TTYL

Hey all, thanks for the warm welcome!

I have seen a lot of forums for everything out there and this one seems to have to BEST and the NICEST people I have ever seen. I am looking forward to learning and sharing my work with you all.

-I will admit, I did already start on making the routered oak base for this build... -New, and I'm already breaking the rules Blush [:I] (-But the Schwimmwagons are still in tree-mode)

THANKS!

Welcome to the forums and welcome back to the hobby!

So do I register with you Beav? I would like to get into this since there is no completion date. Sorry, I've been preoccupied on some other things. An M-8 would qualify correct?
