                        Back in the thread I remember somone said something about how to fix the mesh on the 223 and 222, how did you do this (sorry, I can't remember who)

                        ok here is my progress so far. engine and most of the kit except body itself is done. been a breeze to put this one together. two minor probs did surface. the decals for the instrument panels did not take. they have peeled up at the edges. also the exhaust pipe clashed with the drive axle, couldnt get them both in the same spot. so tried to heat the exhaust piece and poof liquid plastic. going to use wire to replace the oops. but not going to install this until i get to the body. next up painting the body and adding it to the frame.

                        now the pics.

                        I need help getting motivated. Sounds familiar. Its not the model this time, or the weathering, or the scratchbuilding. Its putting on some jerry cans. Does anybody have some good ideasfor making straps? im probably going to use masking tape or toth floss.

                        The Jerrycans are the 2nd to last edition of extras. I going to try and make some branches and put them on.

                        Sorry i can't post pics though. Computer #1 (which i postpics with) broke and has to go to the storeto get fixed. Computer #2 does not work with the soft wear. So you'll have to wait awhile. Sorry!

                        I am seriously hating German kits! lol That said, I am going to build an Academy MUTT in Israeli colors and submit that. I actually gave my painted and weathered 250/1 to a buddy because I just didn't like the way it looked.

                        Beav & TG...look great guys.

                        Beav you are oh so close in posting pics. Look where you typed the 'img' after the URL address of the pics. You need to put a forward slash (a '/' ) in front of those 'img's' at the end of the pics to tell the system it is the last part of that command. So basically you have img in square brackets, followed by the URL address of the pic, then /img in square brackets. Then you do the same for each subsequent pic.

                        I love adding different unused dimensions to models if I can...
                        It just makes them better, even if there are huge gaps on the interior....

                        I had been planning to use it for a mini dio stand for a long time, and I finally got around to building something out of it. They are also multiuse display stands. And if your subject is small enough, it becomes a travel case! with the clear plastic top on of course!
                        I am so sorry that I have not posted pics-but it is the 'grand march' for my Senior High's prom, and my sister is there, along with my parents-and the digital camera. I guess you and I will all have to wait-but it looks really cool now that it is totally 100% unique. No just some plastic scrap
