John-thanks. The legos came into play when I needed three hands to do something. I can either build a fixture to hold a plane while I turn it at angles, add some two-sided tape (masking tape folded over) for a more secure fit and can glue the legos together if it is a complicated fixture. Of course, my son gets partial credit-they're his legos.

bobbaily, if you get some time, snap a picture of those pine branches or what the plant looks like. For all I know, I have them in my yard too.

Sorry Jason, I'm not sure what pic/plant you are referring to.

Sorry Bob...I apparently am a Dunce [D)]. I was catching up and confused your post with Double Ds. Forgive my peasized brain, as it has been withered from years of exposure to glue and other modelling chemicals.

No problem. My wife gave me two gallons of Sherwin-Williams best interior latex satin-used one of them today on the master bedroom-other will be used tomorrow. I could use some oxygen 'bout now. Just not as much fun as painting models....

I am new to the forums. I started a Bulge dio about 2 weeks ago so I am about 6 weeks behind. I'll have to really focus to make it by the end of February. I may have to tone down the original scope of the project.

The subject will be German armor and figures in a small village.

Well, after about 4hrs of strait work, I finished!!!!! Big Smile [:D] Well, the M-10 that is.
Figs and dio, still in progress.

I am pretty statisfied with the overall results. I did get some silvering on the decals, but I dont know why???.

Everything else came out pretty good. Except for the fact that I lost the 50 CalDisapprove [V] Took it off to paint the model, and then it dissapeared.

All I really have to do is add some muddy and gunk filled tracks and suspension and add some snow to the vehicle.

I'll get a couple of pics.

my willys is almost done........ with the M16 and WIllys done, I need to finish my figures (the last 2 verlinden GI's showed up yesterday) and find some realistic foliage and then you can stick a fork in me......... (not literally please)...... as for the 105, it was not in a safe place and got knocked off the shelf thanks to the stoopid cat. if time permits, i'll get anotherone and replace it.

Cats are evil with one purpose on this planet- to destroy models. Mine ate the props off of my Black Widow. Funny, but kids seem to have the same purpose

yep, my 2-year old Tori found my Hiding Place for my stuff and seeing how my tools and model stuff get stored in the same area, she was holding a flathead to my M16 halftrack saying "me help, me help!"

My 3 year old wants to help me paint. I occasionally let her "paint" non-breakable parts with either water or, if I put an apron on her, a light wash.

Double D, your German teacher's name wouldn't happen to be Frau Krull, would it? I went to HS in S. Holland, IL ( Thornwood) & we had a female German teacher w/ a lazy eye. That was back in the '80's though.

I beat the game pretty quik too. I didnt really like how as you get farther into the levels, you have to shoot the germans multiple times before they die! it is a really fun game though!

I just remembered there is a Battle of the Bulge Special called Battleground on the new Discovery Military Channel (what used to be Discovery Wings). I believe it is on the 18th.

the xbox version is short(i should get the comp version, bigger and its always different than the system ones.)....and u keep on switching the characters which didnt really get u to feel a lot of compasion to their struggle, like when tanya died i was like.....eh....thats what u get for a funny accent (my natural polish dislike of russian kicking in...)
i saw a comercial for the military channel and got all giddy.... i used to watch Wings compulsively when i was younger.....if u got in my way (as my sis did) i was ready to KILL YOU!
