I would like to join....my only hang up is that I won't finish it by Feb. 2nd. I am in the middle of an F-15 group build and I'll  be lucky if  it's done by Feb.

I've already got 2 Vipers building and one more on the pile.  Will started builds be accepted?  I'm working on the F-16B Technology demonstrator and a NY ANG Block 30 F-16C, each of which is about 50% done.  If those don't cut it, then put me in for a Block 40 F-16CG.

I guess I should also say that I won't be able to start right right now, I am in the process of renovating my modeling roomBig Smile [:D]

I had a idea for the badge, why don't we make it whatever squadron our F-16 is from?

Heres my go at the badge...

I tried to use FSM's colours...

I can make it bigger, but do to size regulations I made it this size. If you want it bigger, let me know and I'll try 150x150pix.

I would like to get in this one as well.  Just got my Black Box 1/48th F-16C Block 40 cockpit and 149th TFW TX ANG decals...Now for a kit... my kingdom for a reasonably priced kit!  Most likely it'll be Hasegawa's newish 1/48th scale F-16C kit..

I went to my LHS today on the way home from school and picked up a Italeri F-16A/B NATO Falcon and Hasegawa F-2A/B. Hopefully I can convert the F-2 into a F-16. If anyone has tried this is it easy to do?

Why would you want to convert it?? Why not just build the Italeri??

I was alreadt planning to do the Italeri. But I also wanted a second F-16 for the build and I have bought the only F-16 kit at my local LHS.

Mr. Chex,

Its gonna be a really hard conversion, dude. I'd go with the "what if", if anything.  Wings are different, cockpit's different, its a bigger aircraft. I'd just hate to see you get frustrated with a really good kit!

Just my $.02

Everybodys said it is going to be really difficult to do the conversion, so I might do something like the F-16G

Yeah - or you could just do the F-2...
It's close enough to an F-16 to count, and it would add a nice dimension to the group build.

Personally, I'm hoping that you'll do something creative with it, like that 16-G :-)
