Hey Cpt. Sounds like a plan!!Big Smile [:D]

Now I can get back to business of building models again... I had to drop everything & take care of a plumbing problem & had to rebuild part of the wall behind theCensored [censored] toilet.Dead [xx(] Think I got the seam filler thing down now & of course, hand brush painting againShock [:O] Almost broke out my Badger but, didn't think the house paint would work too well in it....

Hey joey, love the C mate.. Great work on it.. Your builds are top class!..

As for your comment on the sci-fi board. Dont worry, you havnt rubbed anyone up the wrong way at all.. I dont know why, but the sci-fi sections just seem to be dying a slow death.. We have alot of people who look in, but wont post. Its a shame, but that just seems to be it.. Usually they will only say something when something happens and then they usually pop out for one post to give their 2 cents..

Also it seems that alot of people are only interested in one subject, and unless you do something in that subject, then they wont join in.. Its a shame, because there are a few of us that can appreciate many different kinds of models..

Here's another update, I have pre-shade my Intrepid with a sharpie/permanent marker. This is a technique with I already have used with mixed results but I am giving it another try.

The seam at the back was so bad that I lost a lot of raised detail with sanding, so I just replaced the whole with a piece of plastic card.

I using enamel paints from Humbrol (because I had those in stock)

The first painting session went bad, the paint was to old and formed lumps. The second session went better. As you can see, the shadow effect is starting to come but it will take a least one more painting session.

My spray booth is not so big, making the handeling a such a large model quiete difficult.

Ed.. Good to see you and remcogrob have tried to keep this build alive!

Great work on your 3 pce set.. Did you decide on the badge you were going to use.. I guess somebody has to make a decision on something in this GB, and so as I liked all of the ones you showed me, I just say choose the one you like and make it the badge!..

Happy holidays to everyone else.. Hope you all had a great break.. I know I did!

Hey Chris, I think this one here is the finalized version

Haven't heard from Capt yet so have posted it here. With the G/B suppose to end on the 7th. I don't see how I can complete my build(s) by then. I'm trying to foil my base right now
