Hi Rambo... I do listen to Heilung from time to time and Faun is one of my favorite German folk music band too. Fasinating how many of the Viking/Norwegian songs sounds so native American indian.

keavdog Listening to the Ben Shapiro Show
Great man and writer.
At the moment it's the local radio station. Next up is Dennis Prager, which I normally find to be a great background for working. That show keeps my brain active, and that's exactly what I want when I'm building. I also like to play music. The Doors, The Who and Creedence Clearwater are faves, but I have to stay away from Nazareth. Hair Of The Dog is a pounding good tune, but it pumps up the blood and causes me to break things. I also listen to Daughtry, The Fray, Dido and folks like that, but after I'm done working I couldn't tell you what songs were played. They're all good songs, but they aren't powerful enough to break my concentration.

Went back and listened to EJ's 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' on Youtube, first time in about 10 years in its entirety. Now 'Ballad of Danny Bailey' is stuck on an endless loop in my subconscious!

I'm listening to Dog Toenails on A Hardwood Floor and Neighbor Reving Engine. Once in a while I get treated to Dog Barking At Neighbor Reving Engine, but that's about it.
As far as music goes I never really listen while building. I used to listen to talk radio but I'm so burned out on the stupidity that is politics I don't turn it on anymore.
I guess modelling for me, has become a complete escape from everything else around me allowing me to just focus on what makes my world a happier more tolerable place for me. But, to stay on topic, If I was listening to music while building model airplanes I guess I'd make it theme music by putting on The Top Gun Sound Track. After all, I'm modelling miniature replicas of aircraft that certainly flew right into the danger zone. Maybe a little Elvis or Classic Country as well.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Drifting around 80s music ( AC/DC “Thunderstruck”, Missing Persons “Destination Unknown”, Eurythmics “Love is a Stranger” - creepy ventriloquist puppet in video weirds me out).
And for lighter fare, Paul Simon’s “You Can Call Me Al“ and Talking Heads’ “Once in a Lifetime”.
