My sentiments exactly Frank. Only one problem with it. I have a tendency to nod off after about 2 hours of it so I switch to Spanish Guitar music for about the same amount of time then switch back.

Oh man.  I've listened to quite a few radio shows.  Lots of Jack Benny, The Bickersons, Abbott and Costello, The Shadow, Lights Out, Yours Truly Johnny Dollar.

Best when they include the old crusty commercials too.

I think i was born 6 decades later than i should have.

If you enjoy that stuff, you should check out the old W.C.Fields shows with Don Ameche and Charlie McCarthy. Some of the most hysterically funny meandering monologues I've ever heard. "Life Among the Bolivians." Brilliant stuff!

Haha...

Isn't that the ventriloquist act on the radio?   I've heard my dad and grandparents talk about him.  Never heard the bit, I'll have to check it out.

I've listened to a lot of their music. Sabaton are serious headbangers. Their choice of subject matter is unusual and interesting.

Nothing at the moment, but a package showed up at my office minutes ago that contained Def Leppard's "Hysteria" CD, with two bonus discs the I was unaware was part of the deal.  And a DVD of Karl Urban's "Dredd".  I'm old fashioned in music, movies and media platforms.  Nevertheless, I think this evening will be most enjoyable!  Big Smile

Etta James, James Ingraham before that. The great ones are gone too soon. I just like anyone with excellent talent.

Hats off to the great Joe Walsh.

Just got home from our kick off concert, and afterparty in a bar in Carmel with the principal musicians.

I've always modeled in silence.  It's more calming that way, plus I need all the help concentrating I can get.

I do like listening to music, however.  I'm one of those dreaded audiophiles.  So, when I listen, I put all of my energy into listening.  Tastes range from classical to straight-up jazz to thrash metal.  If I have a favorite genre, it's prog rock from the late 60's and 70's: Cream, ELP, Rush, King Crimson.  Like alot of Alan Parsons Project and Yello too.
