I think a similar thread was created a little while back, but I can't seem to find it.
Personally, after 16 years in the Coast Guard, I'd like to see someone step up and manufacture a 378 HEC or 210 MEC, or any of the newer National Security cutters for that matter.
The only ships I know of are the WW2 version of Taney, The training barque Eagle (worked on it's sails as a non rate), a "Rescue Boat", a Cape Class patrol boat, a 50's version of the Eastwind and something Hawk calls a Coast Guard cutter that's the WW2 version of the "Bibb". And oh yes, I think Revell came out with the Campbell back in 57, again WW2.
As far a aircraft, there is a C-130, a Dolphin, and an Albatross.
Common guys (manufacturers), the Coast Guard does more than small boats, and are active now, not just during WW2.
