Bish, Valkyrie figures are top notch. They do a lot of post WWII and current era AFV crew figures that have been overlooked for too long. Definitely worth a look.

I will share these goodies that the postal carrier has brought in the past couple of weeks. I can’t call them a postman because it was a female type that brought the Valkyrie figures yesterday.

Beav, the Liberator alone is worth the $15.

Ditto Even though it’s a very old mold, it still makes a great looking B-24.

I've done the Revell D model and that wasn't to bad.

A minor score at an estate sale. The boxes are beat up, but the parts are all there. All 3 for $15. I swore I wasn't going to add to the stash...But?

Got several things lately,  the first my friend at my LHS gave me this as he was going to throw it out cuz it was un-sellable in it's condition,  all the parts are there, the decals will for sure need a coat of Micro scale decal coating.

the next four were raffle wins at the NordicCon show here last weekend,  major score!!

I got the BSG Conlonial One off the discount shelf at my LHS.   Aaaaaaa, more stuff for the stash!

Just picked up these.  I've been playing a lot of a WWI flight simulator called "Rise of Flight" lately, playing a career campaign as a Royal Flying Corps pilot stationed near Ypres starting in April 1916.  I was inspired by the DH.2 I've been flying in the game, and I also got the Fokker Eindecker kit because they were contemporary rivals.

I'll probably build the Fokker first, since I've never rigged a biplane before and it has a simpler layout.

More bugs:

I did a quick snap fit of the kit:

The inner wings provided in the kit look lousy, so if I am going with the flying pose (which instantly captured my fancy), I'll need to make better ones.

I got on upscalehobbies - very cool site, lots of auto and bike stuff.  I was looking to order a bunch of rattle cans after seeing a FB post about restock.  Tamiya flat black, semigloss and gloss black - very convenient.  Then I saw this and had to have it.  BTW service on this site is great - this is my 3rd or 4th order and Chris writes a personal note on every invoice.  Top notch - fast shipping too.

Guy's, I've never realized how literal the modelling addiction is until today. I drove out to my LHS this afternoon after hitting up the Hobby Lobby and deciding to pass on kits there. All I wanted to do today was buy a single container of XF-80 to finish an OV-10 project that's been staring at me for months.

Well, mission accomplished, right? Well, no. What was supposed to be a $3 shopping trip turned into a $110 one, as I managed to convince myself to grab these.

Standing in the LHS, it was exactly like a druggy or a drunkard fighting a fix with their vice in question a foot away from them. The only one I can kind of justify is the truck and associated paints- the finished product is a Christmas gift for my mother, who is an absolute Coke(a-Cola) fiend.

The especially ironic part? Literally hours before this excursion, I was writing an article for a thing about how I've frozen new purchases to the stash, focusing on finishing as many projects as possible before I've got to move out of state for school. Arg.

Seriously though, is there some kind of... modellers anonymous group somewhere? Someplace people can hold each other accountable for not purchasing more kits?

I'm only kind of kidding.

Yes Bish the FGR.2 has a fancy looking scheme but I may go with some aftermarket decals I have for an operational squadron. That one I got last year at the same yearly show as I was walking out and just hapenned to catch a view of the box.

Thanks guys. The pricing was tempting for sure!

Bish yes the Airfix is out here in the colonies and runs under $25 I think. I'm so happy I got the FG.1 Hase to go with the other Hase FGR.2 in my stash!

Thats a good price, even with the £ as it is, still quite a bit cheaper than here. You have the FGR.2 as well, nice. Now i have the Victor in the stash, i have myself all lined up ready for the Airfix FGR.2 next month.

Italeri Demag D7..................$5

Hasegawa 1/48 LTV with PE...$20

1/48 Hasegawa FG.1.............$10

I was looking for the Airfix 1/72 FG.1 but man I couldn't pass up the price the vendoe gave me! Big Smile

Oh my. I would have had the shakes getting the money out of my pocket.

tankboy51

I've been having a thing for 251 for decades now.  When the old (then for me), kits of the Nitto 251 in the early 1970`s came out I had to have one.  Several actually.  I am almost done with the AFV Club 251/9 Aust C kit.  Just have to a flat coat and some final weathering on it. So the Aust a will be added ASAP.  I've probably built 20 or more of them since then.

Hope you will post some pics of that /9, i have that kit and i do like the AFC Club AusfC kits. These ICM kits look very nice, i think the /1 will be my next 251 build. With 5 built but 27 more in the stash, i need to pull my fingur out with those.
