Well, you can’t spend the gift card somewhere else. Those are two nice scores castel.

I ordered 5 items the other day and 3 have arived.

It's part of my shift to 1/72 armor and 1/144 aircraft.

That Merkava is big compaired to my Strumtiger. Not being a tanker, I had no idea these guys were this big.

I'm still waiting for a Revell F-5 and F-14A, both 1/144.

Modern militart equipment does tend to be bigger that its WW2 equvalant, just compare fighters. Thing with modern armour is that despite the size increase, the weights have not gone up that much.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Acquired this one a couple of Saturdays ago from the HobbyTownUSA in Asheville, NC, while I was working there over that weekend at one of my hospitals.....

Luckily, the decals will allow me to paint it an overall gloss white, with minimal masking probably on the tops of the wings. I was kinda apprehensive about buying it (mainly because of the premium mark-up for being a "limited edition" kit), figuring that I'd be doing a lot of masking for some of the paint scheme, but I was very relieved when I bought it anyway and opened the box....

It's got a 2014 copyright date, so it's a relatively new mold/mould (I guess it has to be, as the 787-8 ain't that old anyways....). Not sure when it's gonna get on the bench, but, with no interior, it might be one of those weekend builds in the next few months.

Been awhile since I last posted, but now that I am using a new photo hosting site (See Ya P.B!) I thought I would post up. Went to a model show in N.H Saturday and was fortunate enough to score a great deal with the vendor that I have done business with in the past. Due to personel reasons he was getting out of the model scene and as a result I bought all the braille scale he had. On our way out my son and I recieved a few chuckles from on lookers as we excused ourselves in order to avoid colliding into fellow patrons while nimbly balancing four huge boxes overflowing with kits. As an added bonus a halfdozen of the kits contained aftermarket details and several boxes had two kits in them. I also like all the latest procurements everyone has been able to parley keep them coming.

I ordered the screens, zim, and indies to go with the KT And I made a stop by HL to get some supplies and grabbed the Tamiya Hanomag 251/1.

I'm contemplating a diorama.

LOL, thanks Gamera ,

When I got home I got the look from the wife, but she's always been supportive of my hobby. Now I need to figure out how to make more room for them.

Tamiya yes. Ausf C? Doesn't say.

The weird thing is that the half track is molded in dark grey, but the figures are molded in dark green. I've never seen Tamiya do that in one box. Like Matchbox. Weird.

Ye, that is the old Ausf C kit. Thats the only kit that used the term hanomag.

I am not sure why they did that with the figures. They were included in a seperate set of figures, but those came along quite some time after the halftrack was released.

Nice haul. Like the Hetzer and M3 Lee. I did see a review video of the Lee kit. Supposedly, there were some minor fitment issues with the upper angled hull plates so be on the look out.

I have several Dragon Tigers in the stash but had to get this Takom KT Pz.Abt. 505 w/ Zimm (Special Edition). Got it on Ebay for $64 shipping included from California. This is not for the faint at heart with a high parts count possibly several hundred parts.

Full interior included down to the interior stencils

And that deadly 88

I haven't been active on the forums lately, but I wanted to share this:

Sorry it's just a link; I still don't know how to paste urls from the phone.  Me so stupid.  (Updated!)

This was an impulse buy while going through Retrokit's site looking for legitimate stuff - honest!
