Mopar Madness
That little Mustang is just too much!

Right? The Mustang and F-14 are the wife's favs so I knew I could't go wrong with that one. Also, Hell-er Bust is based out of Boise.

Re the Ta-154 from some posts a few days ago:

It builds into a nice model but not without effort.  The wings will droop unless you make a few cuts.  Here's my build log.  Forget the decals.

Man you guys are getting some great scores here. You guys are making out like bandits, as my dad would have said...

In the meantime, I picked up this on clearance at  Brookhurst, for a real great price....

John: Wow, that's a sharp lookin' bird!

SP: Very cool, not a subject you see that often. I'd love to see you post the finished product when you get around to building her.

Greysnake: That's a monster that followed you home! Very cool!!

As I liquidate a majority of my non-Airfix stash on eBay, I‘ll pick up a few red box bargains here and there.

Nice find! I just sold the Trumpeter version on EBay. Really wanted to hold on to it but it really needed to be in the hands of someone who can do it justice! But, it sure was fun to open the box and sift through all that plastic!

I'm begining to get that impression. I have no room to talk, most of my pruchases lately have been 1/17 Hasegawa

If there wasn't already an Airfix GB on going, i'd suggest hosting, running and building one all by yourself. Would make a might fine collection.

No complaints here John. The kit has zero flash, no burrs and very crisp but subtle recessed panel lines. The Cartograph decals are in perfect register and the overall shape definitely looks like a Sea Fury!

The mailman delivered the England today along with the PE set.  Should be a nice little challenge.  I'm looking forward to building her and dropping some depth charges.

Nice kit Ted, if you can wait till Aug, I'm continuing my ship group builds by adding American Ships.

Here are som more additions to my hanger. My wish list is thinning down some now. I still have some modern, a few WWII bombers and several ships on it though. I'm psyched about the Sufa.

My calendar is marked.  I'll have to shuffle the queue around a bit.  I got stuck on a-10 videos on YouTube today so maybe I'll try to build one in the meantime.  What an awesome plane.  Brrrrrrrrrrrrtttt!

I don’t know what looks sillier, the egg shaped U-boat or the surprise look on that fishes face!  I’ve seen a few pictures of these built and they are pretty funny to say the least!

A couple more additions from this past week. For me, the Nimrod is the Holy Grail of Hornby era Airfix kits. The Bulldog is not...

Unfortunately they do not. Your best chance of finding one is eBay. I’m sure at some point they will re-release a new tool version. If we’re lucky they will make it 1/48 scale!
