Stick, those are just stunning builds Surprise

Templar, you have some great looking stuff as well. I love the little cargo truch and the Olympia looks fantastic in rust camo intsead of it's usual white and spar color.

Thanks John. I finished the BTR last spring/summer, so it’s been awhile. The X-Wing in late Fall when I was going stir crazy at having all my stash aNd supplies pretty much packed to move. All my other builds last year were armor, so that’s why I kicked off this year with the A-7.

My last three, I've re-opened the cabin as our house move is on hold due to the Covid-19 lockdown, so two snap kits and a seaplane......

Rick, seeing that Hawk SBD put a smile on my face. Many happy childhood memories are wrapped up right there in your build!

As some of you know, I have just joined the forums in the last week or so.  Having just got back into model building, I don't have 3 "last models" to share, but here's my first attempt at it after a break of many years.  Nowhere near the caliber of most of the models here, but for my first try after being away so long, I was happy with it.  Just trying to learn all the new things out there WRT paint these days.  Thank goodness for forums like this, and you tube!  So without further adooo, here's my 1/72 Hawk SBD Dauntless....

Just got round to checking Steves out, impressive water effects once again Steve. And as much as it pains me to say it about an Imperial vehicle, thats very nice. If only i could do that to a Spitfire.

Thanks John and Bish.

John, Hmm, I'd have to give that one some thought....It might involve resin.

Bish, here is my PT-76 in a river I made in 2018, it may give you some ideas. My techniques have changed some since.

John, those are 3 very nice looking gbuilds.

I can't see Steve's at the minute, will check those out tonight. But i know his water builds are top notch. I have a German amphibious tank i want to going into a river, so i am keen on ideas on how to do the splashing water.

Wow 2x builds.  I'm a sucker for the A7.

Great water work.  Do you think this is possible?  How would you go about it?  I have the Trumpeter fire engine kit.

Thanks,

John
