Back from a brief provincial assignement and looks like I missed lots of things including the Trumpex.
Anyway here is the latest from my bench (which is actually the dining table...
)
This is not the usual thing I do but somehow I managed to have progress on it after a long while...
This kit has it all.
Warped pieces, bent parts, flash, injection marks, incomplete instructions etc. Or perhaps I just don't have the skill to do this kind of things.
It was a tough fight keeping the two halves of the hull together as the plastic seems to be immune to glue. I tried to straighten some bent parts but they snap off...
.
Anyway I worked on it and I opted for the simplified rigging. I am working on a sturdier base for this one, then I'll take clearer pics outside.
BTW it is the Revell 1/83 Mayflower for the wife.
One year + in the making.
