Back from a brief provincial assignement and looks like I missed lots of things including the Trumpex. Disapprove [V]

Anyway here is the latest from my bench (which is actually the dining table... Big Smile [:D]

)

This is not the usual thing I do but somehow I managed to have progress on it after a long while...

This kit has it all. Big Smile [:D]

Warped pieces, bent parts, flash, injection marks, incomplete instructions etc. Or perhaps I just don't have the skill to do this kind of things. Tongue [:P]

It was a tough fight keeping the two halves of the hull together as the plastic seems to be immune to glue. I tried to straighten some bent parts but they snap off... Angry [:(!]

Anyway I worked on it and I opted for the simplified rigging. I am working on a sturdier base for this one, then I'll take clearer pics outside.

BTW it is the Revell 1/83 Mayflower for the wife. Approve [^]

One year + in the making. Blush [:I]

So long as the venue is available, everyone is welcome. Its a free-wheeling session, really, and you should be able to see various stages of kit construction going on. And the discussions (both modeling related and otherwise) are also great.

Oh, and its absolutely FREE! You dont need to bring anything, but if youve got kits under construction, or about to be constructed, you might want to bring them along so you can get pointers.

Hey guys, how do i join those saturday builds ba sa UP? I already bought some small kits to build on and i want them to come out as near as exibit pieces. I really want to observe and learn painting teqchniques specially for small scale kits........Are there any fees to be collected in attending this meetings?.....what do i have to bring?

Don't know yet, just got back , I was out of town the whole month and missed the whole TrumpEx event. Sad [:(]

Just went to the trumpex last thursday, haneeeepppp!! yung mga models. di ko alam kung madi-discourage ako o mai-inspire!.....really pleasing to the eyes matagal nakasi ako di nakapunta sa scale model exibits...probably the next best thing to an airshow. Saan kaya ako pede matutu ng technique sa pagpintura? balak k restore yung ibang lumang model ko e......

P.S. i'm not sure if the simulated water base is included in the kit but the box is huge at may lower hull pa! la na di nako makatulog.hehehe Big Smile [:D]
