i thought the soldier was throwing up hehe. where will the exhibit be held? hope you can post the date here :) i've been looking at some armor and aircraft models. can you guys suggest a good model for armor? and whats a good brand aside from Tamiya coz they're a little expensive. so far i've seen Italeri, Trumpeter, Dragon, Academy and Hasegawa. and what scale do you always build? thanks:)

Yep, nice work Dwight.

Did that soldier fall of the tank or something? It's a good thing though that the sherman was able to stop right at the same moment the guy fell or he would've had been ran over if the tank had to back up. ehehehe.

beth:

Yeah, it seems like everybody is busy getting ready for the Trumpeter Exhibit this coming August.

Welcome to the group, zeke. You got good advice there from mang ernie. I have been using the Tamiya Spraywork Basic Airbrush and Compressor for 4 years now and it still works fine.

BTW I just finished my diorama entitled "The Fall of..."

On the way to Berlin a group of Russian soldiers hitched a ride on one of the passing Shermans and I guess somebody was looking for some fun...

Seriously...with all those pictures of Russian tanks packed with infantry...I bet somewhere, sometime some pushing and shoving happenned... :D And of course there will be finger pointing, too.

Yep zeke.... get the a/b that comes with a compressor. It'll save you money and a lot of frustrations in the long run compared to the compressed air can.

zeke

Checkout Lil's Makati or Megamall they may have that type of Tamiya Airbrush, but, if your're a beginner try the Tamiya Spraywork for size it comes with its own compressor, its reasonably priced and easy to maintain.Wink [;)]

I've been using mine for almost 14 years.Big Smile [:D]

hope this helps.

parang commercial? heheheBig Smile [:D]

Hi zeke... welcome to the notorius FSM Filipino Thread (commandeered by filipinos)!

Isn't that the winning orange Honda bike? That is a nice kit indeed... I've been eyeing that kit in the different Lil's branches over the metro but have been controlling myself from acuiring and getting into another subject for modelling. I'm a car / mecha / & aircraft builder by the way.

Welcome once again and hope you enjoy your stay. Big Smile [:D]

Hope you don't mind if I share some photos of your impressive albeit unfinished Alpha here. Big Smile [:D] Great job! It really doesn't look like a toy anymore. Wish I had a kit of this Alpha too....

Thanks Allan and Mang Ernie.

Actually I already removed the dust cover. I also cut one link from the tracks and the tracks look better now.

I am not working on the figures. About ten of them.

Looking good!Big Smile [:D] your right about the dust cover doesn't sit well making the shroud a little too thick, you might consider changing the material.
