Jeepneys are the kings of the roads here in the Philippines.... unfortunately. Mischief [:-,]

One good thing about modeling scale jeepneys though is that nobody as in nobody will have the right to tell you that it is inaccurate. Laugh [(-D]

I think Im gonna have to buy a fleet of Jeepneys when I move back to Cavite. That and a fleet of trikes. Its a sure thing in money making.Wink [;)] Ill probably open a few Internet Cafes as well.Wink [;)]

Well here she is at this point in time. I have to finish up the interior and build the motor. Still digging for more do-dads to place all over the place. I painted the Philippine flag on the roof, as well as printed a front plackard that says Blackfoot Express.

I hope you all enjoy all my hard work. Its not done and no where near perfect, but has anyone ever seen a perfect Jeepney?

Wow! Your jeepney sure is looking good. What scale is your jeepney in, is that 1/35th?

Cbrain- I'm sorry, I don't have interior shots of the Mirage. It might seem strange after all these years with the car, but we never took a picture inside- I do have exterior shots though. (sorry for the late reply - our landline was cut for good cause no one uses it but me -so from now on its renting pc's outside. or how long it would take me to convince the parents to get DSL.Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

'Bout the airsoft games... nope, but I'm interested in airsoft "firearms" though I haven't acquired one yet. As far as the kits are concerned they' re still undone but the workbench is filled with reference mags like Scale Auto and FSM as well as the instruction manuals of the kits. I just can't seem to start yet but I should while I still have the luxury of time these coming 2 weeks. I may be over preparing for the projects but it's better than being under prepared. How are your builds doing?

Measure it with a micrometer. Mark it with a grease pencil. Cut it with an ax.

If you guys want to check out Trumpeter's upcoming 1/48 Condor, you can view test shots of the kit at http://www.ipmsphilippines.com

Trumpeter gave us a copy of the test shot and the guys are reviewing it.

Hi Beth! Smile [:)]

Tanker,

Yup! Drove home Saturday and played the very next day. Met up with Hunter and we spent a whole day with him. Sayang, our IPMS Baguio brothers were inviting us for steaks sa Country Club but there was little time. Then again, Ill be back up in the Highlands in June ... Big Smile [:D]

We really should organize a group trip up there. The Highlanders will be more than happy to play host. Me Saturday Build Sessions din sila. Not along Session Road, though. Big Smile [:D]

Sadly, I cant join you guys this Saturday. Me and the family are off to Tayabas naman. But Im always there in spirit. Miss ko nga lang ang kulitan.

Warden,

Aba, aba! Eh 3 Maria kaya yun. Malay ko kung sino. But I cant forget the look on Shrikes face when he first saw his Italian beauty. Parang a love song suddenly played. Big Smile [:D]

So what did apply a clear coat on? Its not as blue as Blue Nile but almost as sweet as Brown Sugar.
