Very nice. Btw, I would not use a bathroom fan as a spray booth fan, explosion hazard as the motor is not out of the airflow.

Ok , I added some decals last night .Not all of them .Today did  some weathering .

 i can't wait to give him this bird .

tThe weathering Im using flory weathering

Top , side and gun  I used blackwith little rust

The bottom I used brown mud

i guess i need to finish the ammo and door glass . then flat clear coat

Next week ,last week off wok .

The vent here I used rust

I used a squirrel cage unit i got from Grainger ducted outside. Give me a couple days I will post some pics of my setup.

Hey Frog,

Your Huey is coming along nicely.  Just a small suggestion on your flex guns.  They are derived from the M60 machine gun used by infantry troops.  They are actually a dark metallic, almost black in reality.  Everything looks great; your neighbor will be thrilled!!

2022 New Year's Resolution:  Enter 1 group build and COMPLETE a build this year!!  Why Photobucket did you rob me of my one Group Build Badge???  Must be part of the strong anti-Monogram cartel!!!

Looks like your project came out very good.

I painted the belts flat black and gave them a steel dry brush to pop the details.

Thanks Frog. I agree with TADave, your quads should be darker. M60's are parked and the tone can range from a almost black grey to a greenish grey but that's an easy fix.

ToastToastGotta agree with Pjunkie, that's one sharp chopper! The custom metal skids are really well done.  Nice job too on the ammo chutes.

I finished this project.My first model. I wanted to thank everyone for there help .again thank you

This is my view of my Huey I wanted to build . After all the pictures , No Huey was clean . They  were the work horse during vietnam war .

I feel very happy with the end results .
