Just do a "right click" on one of the illustrations in use.  I saved mine to my computer, copied it to Photobucket then linked to my signature at my profile.  I'm sure someone on the thread has a simplier way to do it, but it works.

You guys have inspired me so I found a 1/48 Dragon HO229 kit on eBay for $29.95 and free shipping and snagged it.  I know it's too late for the build but I plan on having a lot of fun building it.  It's probably going to take like a month to get here from China, but I think it will be worth the wait.

Primarily because of Vance, I've extended the GB deadline to 7-29-2011.  So you are in...

Sounds like a great bargain.  Still in all, if you need tips about sneaking it into the house, there's another thread..........Whistling

That's great!  Thanks.  Now I have to go paint hunting for it.  Any suggestions as to the proper paint numbers?

Has anyone seen my cat? Last seen in possession of a paper Ho229, boarding a small u-boat on a southerly heading, likely around NY or NJ...

I think I saw Carlos firing up the grill. Hmm

Heard Manny was going to watch "The Longest Day", but he was going to run it in reverse. Indifferent

Wouldn't that make it "The Shortest Night"?

No, time remains the same.  The film is run backwards.  "Longest Day".  Movie about the Allied invasion of Normandy.

Guess if I have to explain it , its not funny. Embarrassed

soooooooooooo it would still be the longest day, it would just end with the Allies reversing themselves off of the normandy beaches, ejecting live bullets from their bodies & heading home. Backwards. Hmm

Then opening sequence would run like this :

the SS officer in the car would give the guy on the ground his briefcase back , get in the ( can't be a N_aziofficer without one  .. ) big, black , open topped staff car ( no doubt the same one later used by Ralph Fiennes ) and use an MP-40 to suck the bullets out of the guy who is running backwards ..........

hmmmmmmmmmmmm...........would be nice to see a photo of Manny's staff car

Request SITREP on location of HO229 cocktail napkin.  Has it reached its first destination?  Is it still enroute?

THE PACKAGE is in play.

Phase one was initiated on April 21 at 1330hrs AST. It is being shipped via the civilian postal stream. First destination is Manny's secret lair, deep in the State of Confusion. There is still potential for the authorites to intercept & uncover our plot. If I go dark for more than 48 hours, destroy this thread & meet at the safehouse.

This post will self-destruct in...

Nothing from Manny today, not even smoke signals. I have to assume that he is making the trip from his secret bunker to the (obviously) fake mailing address he gave to me for the Ho delivery. May not hear from him for days if it involves air travel...
