Man that looks sharp! I love the Aggressor camo scheme. Which boxing of the F-16 is that?

It’s the deluxe kit that had paint included, 85-6663 from 1998 I believe. Not a bad kit overall. Built well out of the box. Mine was missing the cockpit decals of all the odd things.
In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!
Of all "modern" jet fighters, the F-16 is my favorite. Your build looks fantastic!

Monogram's 1/48 RF-101B Voodoo. Built for the Eye in the sky group build.
Great looking build. Have always liked the Voodoo, another classic Century Series jet.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Keyda, great work on your Voodoo! A very nice clean build!
Thanks guys!
My latest Monogram, the A6M5 Zero, complete with scratch-built cockpit and wheel wells.
I posted this somewhere else but not here...yet. I recently finished a 1/48 scale Monogram T-28A. This 60 year old kit wasn't an easy build but the results are quite satisfactory I feel. The overall finish is Alclad Duraluminum. The wingwalks are painted rather than decals. The decals are a mix of kit decals and Techmod. The yellow is MM Insignia Yellow. The wheels are after market resin wheels. Enjoy.
OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...
Nice work!

Here's my Monogram 1/48 Do 335. I see in a previous post, someone did the two seater night fighter, which was nicely done!

Just finished this Monogram VNAF T-28D. Now it's on the shelf next to my USAF T-28A.
Sweet T-28. I’ve had that kit sitting for years waiting to be built, but I want to dress it up a bit in the cockpit and wheel wells... seeing yours makes me want to actually make it happen sooner rather than later!
Nice builds on the T-28's and the Do-335. That Zero looks good too.

Thanks, Stikpusher. That's a high compliment. It's nice to know that I can still be a motivator. Press on with your T-28 build. Just be prepared to do some work. The kit dates from Monogram's "parts have to move" era.
BTW: I replaced the kit wheels with these from Armory: AR AW48301 .
The cockpits on mine are OTB. I did cast a second seat for both of them in resin. The kit pilot figure is pretty ugly.
Howdy FSM,
I was able to get 4 builds done this year, and it turns out that all 4 are Revellogram plastic.

I have a few more Revellograms in the stash. Hopefully I'll be able to get a few more slapped together in '19.
Cheers!

I just completed one of my favotite Monogram kits as a kid for this years Weekend Group Build. This new kit under Revell really had its challenges. The tooling wear has taken its toll on the quality of the kit. But its still cool because the flaps extend, landing gear retracts, and it can drop bombs. I'm 10 years old again.
I don't think I've posted this one here, it the Monogram F4F modified to an F4F-3. I started it about a year before the Tamya kit came out, and had just done all the external changes when the Tamiya kit came along in 1994. None of the -3's were pulled from Lake Michigan at the time so I mostly worked from pictures in a good article in Wings magazine. I robbed the Tamiya kit of a few essentials like the landing gear, cockpit, engine, horizontal tail, and probably the propeller. But hey, it still has the heart of the Monogram kit! I took new photos of it yesterday, and I think it's holding up pretty well for a 24 year old.
John,
Your F4F is stunning. That is another Mongram kit that is on my nostalgia list of kits. That was the first kit my Dad built with me on the kitchen table one night.
Scott
Scott, you did a fine job on the old SBD. All in 48 hours? Nice!
John, that is fantastic work on the F4F. So beautiful in the Yellow Wings scheme!
Scott and John,
Those are great old Monogram kits, and you have both done a beautiful job on them. It reminds me of a quote from "A Charlie Brown Christmas".
Linus: "I never thought it was such a bad little tree. It's not bad at all, really. Maybe it just needs a little love."
Looks like you've given these kits a little love.
Gary
Thanks, guys. I recently tried to build one of these F4F's with my granddaughter and when I tried to glue the fuselage halves togtether they literally shattered. I've heard that the plastic can lose moisture over time and can become brittle. Whatever left, it sure wasn't the same as the one I just posted or the one I built in 1966!
Monogram's 1/48 F-4 Phantom. Had a lot of fun with this one. The intake pieces were a bit of a challenge, but I managed to make them look alright.

Theuns, that is a fine trio of Revellogram Luftwaffe birds!
