That thing is just plain awful!! What a piece of junk! You need to throw that monstrosity out. I just need to know where you take your trash to. I won't rifle through your garbage, I promise.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

Thank you Chuck! Glad you enjoyed the pics of the airshow. Exquisite work on that engine it looks simply amazing and well worth your efforts. I have a question on the right side. Looking at this pic you can see a metal tube. What is it? Something that bleeds out fuel?  Looked odd.

All kidding aside, You'da man chukw!!!Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

Been to the Palm Springs Air Museum once upon a time. It's a great little place. Isn't it?

I was there once myself a long time ago. One of these days, I should hit the place again on one of my trips back and forth to California.

Once the engine is glued onto the Helldiver, that thing will look like you could take it outside, put some gas and oil in it, and it will fly! What a magnificent model!

Nope not lifted but I was thinking it may be the same Helldiver I should check. I was forced at sabre point by the wonderful FAA  GB fellows to attend Wings Over Houston just this last weekend.  Seems that cuz I lived only 10 minutes away I had no excuse not to go and take pics. Pictures that were inspired by what I saw Chuck take to prep for his HellDiver. I posted a thread to show the pics but it rotated away pretty quick so here is the link if you would like to see what all was there. Probably the biggest Air Show I have attended since Paris.

As you know Chuck I have been very disconcerted with this whole thread.  Nearly made me toss out my Helldiver's. As it stands only the poor talking pennys were drown in the wishing well. Hey they antagonized me allright!

Anyways I thought I had come to terms with it. A glimer of hope when I saw even you can make a mistake with the reversed Landing gear. But then I realized that there was no escape. I used to be content taking photos like this.

But know I find myself climbing under and above and inside to get the level of detail I crave because of this infernal thread!!!!

My son thought I had gone crazy! He may be correct but I took many more pics and all I can say is after looking and looking I can only conclude that you have nailed it closer than anyone else in history. The real thing didn't look as good as yours.

The owners thought I had lost my mind when I suggested colored sea gull droppings smeared over it in a glaze to enhance it's color.

Yep I used to be a happy normal kinda fellow. Then li'l Chuck and Abe got to me!

Geez thats exactly what i was thinking. Its like this kit should be 1/6th scale with the ammount of freeking detail going into it.

Tell me your not going to be able to get it to Run! If you said 'you were', id believe you Chuckster.

How about a new cable show--"Iron Modeler".  Chuck takes on modelers for each episode's kit battle.  "Tonight's theme ingredient--photo etch!"

And it's all dubbed in, too, so the dialog is out of synch with the video.
