Lend-Lease GB (1/1/09-7/1/09)

I'm in.

Not sure with what though... Probably an old stand by, like a Sherman, or something like that.  We shall see what x-mas brings.

I'll allow an M4A4 Sherman w/60lb. rockets, because the M4A4 Sherman was a lend-lease vehicle. So give me an update when you decide what vehicle you'll be building.

Can we start now, or do we have to wait till jan of next year?

If we can start now (because Im REALLY ANXIOUS) Ill sign up doing a Academy M3 Grant.

(just a Q, since the grant was a british mod on the american design, can it be anything british (british canadian etc) or does just non american)

I'll be in on this one but I'm not sure what with yet. something aircraft for sure though. adding to the list I am pretty sure the Russians were supplied with some de Havilland Mosquito's.

 I looked into to it, and found "the British turned over more than 100 Mosquitoes to the USAAF under Reverse Lend-Lease." So this was a lend-lease aircraft. Thanks letting me know about the de Havilland Mosquito's.

Sorry, you gotta wait untill January 1st. However, do you still want to be signed up for this GB?

I think I understood your question, so yes, if it's a british/canadian modification on a Lend-Lease vehicle, then it would be more then likely acceptable for this GB.

Well, I don't want people to start early. I might let an exception by, but it depends on how much you already did.

Well I have the pit done, and I signed up for another GB with the same kit on another site. So if that does not work I will understand.

Sorry, no crossover builds. That was a rule of this GB. So I'll have to disqualify your current build. But you're still welcome to build something else, so let me know if you still want in, on this GB.

OK I did not realize what a "crossover build" was, now I know, so please take me off your list.

I think that I might be able to join this one.  In that timeframe I think I can squeeze in a 1/48 Revellogram P-40B.

I looked into it and there was alot of conflicting, confusing data, but their was some sites that said that the M-16 was part of lend-lease. So my decision is yes, you can build that M-16 Halftrack for this GB.

If we're including reverse lend lease as well as the mossies the USAAF/USAF operated the Beaufighter, Tiger Moth, Oxford, Dragon rapide and Defiant as well as the aforementioned Spitfire.

Try these if you want some Lend-Lease references, but it depends on what you're looking for, so they may either be very helpful or not helpful at all.
