                        there r enough stragglers still building 2 keep this thread active 4 awhile yet ...
                        we'll b past 2k posts on this thread before long !

                        as 4 me, i did a bit more work on my m32 last nite:
                        added a scratchbuilt stowage bin 2 rear deck
                        drilled the tubular a-frame & started putting in the little spiky thingies
                        finished the fuel tanx in the engine compartment
                        dryfit tubular & flat a-frames together on the hull

                        this is usually my favorite time in modeling, when u can start 2 see the various subassemblies coming together & the beastie begins 2 take form...

                        pix next week if all goes well !

                        well, it's just about lunchtime...
                        i'm off 2 the art room 2 spray some OD on my m32 upper hull & lifting rig & eat my sandwich .
                        & when i think there's some what says watching paint dry is boring...
                        i'm thrilled, personally... LOL !

                        Another G.B. you say .... hmmmm .... Sherman Family G.B. Part II ... The Nightmare Continues or The Revenge of the Shermanator.

                        Anyways .... we'll have to see what's going on and what the response would be to another G.B. Heck, if we went with another Sherman Build, WIPW and Captain Caveman may have theirs done for the completion of the second build. Wink [;)]Wink [;)]Wink [;)]Wink [;)]

                        I'll have to think about it, it was and still is a lot of fun but there are still a bunch of finished pics to come in so it's far from over.

                        As far as removing the sticky status, it's not a big deal .. we'll bob around in the top two pages for a while yet. But it is a start to uncluttering the Armour Forum.

                        Edog, Frosty, Ron .... great to hear you all are progressing so well, looking forward to the finished builds.

                        I think this is the way to go, but I still want to get some breathing space between this build and the next one. And like I said before, there's still plenty of Shermans yet to come here.

                        But I did have so much fun hosting this one, I'd be honoured to do another.

                        Robert, I think a Sherman Group build 2005 would be perfect something to real look foward to. Plenty of time to get the prefect kit and all the AM & PE to do it right.
                        Problem is we have a hard time waiting a couple of weeks for a build to start I can't imagine what would happen if we had to wait 9 months before we could start.

                        Very good point Trevor ... I like the sounds of a 2005 Sherman build, but that doesn't prevent another build of some sort popping up in the time between.

                        Sorry I haven't posted regularly. My build's had to go on indefinite hold due to work-related issues. There have been some amazing builds in this group effort. All are to be congratulated. I just wish I had been able to finish mine in a more timely manner. I'm still working on mine and will post results when I'm done. Robert will hopefully post it on his site.

                        Calliope update: The www.formations.com Boogie assemblies are coming along good. The formation parts are highly detailed. I do have two negatives with the parts. I been cleaning alot of flash on the parts and the return roller wheels are molded in with the one piece Boogie assemblies. Other than that I would recommend this company.

                        The Sherman Family Group Build 2005... 2004 has barely started and already were talking about the 2005 edition!!!!!!?? Well let me think about this one for a second. hmmmmmmm ok I'm in. I have already baught the M51 but since the subject matter hasn't been decided I will have to just wait and see.
