I think I pass the blame unfairly. Trying to get a flat decal around a complex curve is a pain. I ended up having to slice the decal four checkers deep around the nose. I had to do the same thing with monograms decals as well(years ago). Several applications of micro-sol got em down, a tad wrinkley, but down. A fair amount of touch up paint was in order to fill in around the exaust and lower nose areas. Same deal on the wingtips, although I didn't do any slicing. My main beef about em is at the back end on the bottom of the nose checkers. I just brush painted a few more checkers and red outline all the way back to the gear doors. Don't know if that is correct, but it looks better, IMHO.
I think I was just in a bad mood. The decals aint all that bad!
